  1. Yes, I came to the rep world because I couldn't afford at the time a Monaco, I bought the rep from TTK and maybe a year after I bought the gen monaco. I perhpaps bought 3-5 reps since last year and selling them one after one during that time and reduced my rep collection to 4 watches...that I will now probably keep I now think more and more moving to genuines again or custom made watches if possible. I stated to my GF that I was done with the replica now but a few are still appealing to me that I'd like to get before retiring.
  2. Handeld one last month but have to ship it back due to QC being poor (dial numbers were blurred)...it's sorted out as we speak but the watch was damn hot!! Ordered a strap from HKTAN, so I am still awaiting both the repaired watch and the strap to give it a true review. Maybe in a few weeks.
  3. Correction: The deplyant is indeed 22mm, the replacement I received is 20mm this is why I thoought the strap was 24/24!!
  4. The gen has solid mid links I think, the rep as gold plate only on the outside surface of the bracelet...The SS version looks better IMHO
  5. Monopusher chrono, I don't thing the ST19 have this feature... The minerva movement is beautifull...you'll never see that in a rep.
  6. Thanks Guys, then I received a fantaisy deployant
  7. Can't find a sure answer here or on panerai website, can somebody tell me if the regatta 253 rubber strap with deployant uses a 24/24mm or a 24/22mm? I received my 253 fitted with a 24/24mm rubber strap AND a 24mm butterfly deployant. I was wondering if such 24mm deployant was ever made by panerai? Many thanks for your help. Cheers, Halley
  8. Very cool, I love to look at my SD when its under water!! Cool music in the video too
  9. Yes, I'm really impressed at how you took that idea into a project into a prototype, you never gave up rockett!! I must thank you for that because if I launched the idea, I was far from being diligent enough to take it to even a bigger idea, lol... Many thanks, BTW I will need another santos 100 as I just ordered a 7753 this week
  10. But that a chinese movement, I would like a 2824 with a better finish.
  11. Guys, I believe I'm faded with out of the box watches and would like to improve uncommon replicas to have something different and substantial: My first project would be of getting an auto 2824 easy diver watch from any of our reputable dealer, I like the watch but I can't bear the plain 2824 inside, so I'm looking for a skeletonized 2824 to fit inside... Does anyone have a source for it? I wouls also like to replace the carbon fiber lugs and screws, strap. and of course work the case and deployant to give them a good shine and AR the front and back crystals. I simply love this dial And a RD movement, not the same as in SAW though: and I found a firm in HK making skeleton 2824 but I believe they only sell to pros or at least a certain amount of movements: http://www.alibaba.com/catalog/11628186/28...l_Movement.html This 2824 skeletonized looks damn good and will be perfect for my project tough Any help is welcome Many thanks
  12. A group buy to get a watch at the price it was before? Ironic... 660 was more than the price of most ceramic/SS a few weeks ago. I'd be interested however but not at 660 except if the HBB comes with a swiss 7750, is it? Who you are talking with for this group buy? 450-500 shipped seems reasonable given the price of the ceramic models and probably would allow S&H and profits to all the chain from maker to dealer?
  13. Make a Blancpain 50 fathoms or GMT SS/ruber with eta 28xx instead of bvlgari.... but everybody knows bvlgari, a few people blancpain!! economics...
  14. I've got the Tag Catalog on hand, AR on inner side for the DayDate AquaRacer
  15. going for the rol223 Anyway on how/where to get a better bezel? Thanks
  16. What Ken wrote is probably right appart that I'm probably not as involved as I was in the past, shame on me for letting down my passion for so long, so I do not deserve any respect here, I'm still a noob in a lot of ways... I'm pretty sure King would have honored the deal at 600$ if I followed, in fact I've dealt wih him/her more than a few times...and always been more than accomodating even when I changed order during process for a cheaper watch....AFTER payment!! Still I'm pretty sure that the 200$ mark up is not justified from the SS versions... nothing but the Gold plating is added to the SS/ceramic HBB and if you compare the price of other SS rep and their RG counterparts, you never see a 200 difference...
  17. King did indeed quote me with a 600usd price about 2 or 3 weeks ago, I did not invent that price just to add fuel to the fire!
  18. No word on the price or actual availability as of yet... But damn the watch looks good! I want!
  19. King has the new aquatimer on his/her website... Inquired if it is available, I believe so... Any comments from the experts? Looks good.
  20. Isn't it that chopard produces a limited serie each year (dial+caseback, like the panda) that enters the regular collection the year after? Meaning that the panda is perhaps a regular since 2006 with a display caseback...
  21. As far as I can remember the bracelet on my bentley was well 24mm...
  22. I was quoted 600 shipped from King a couple of weeks back be interested to know why there is a 200 usd margin from other dealers or if King aligned to the upper price witch would be totally unethical.... 600 is a hell lot... 800 is stupid for an asian. Swiss 7753 watches are cheaper!!! But again you have to remember that the USD is at a all time low and every seller labelling it's price in USD is revising them to compensate for the lowering currency. Too bad for US buyers... but for us outiside US we can buy more products labelled in USD...for cheaper.. For exemple I paid my Monaco 1990 USD in dec. 2005 and it is now priced 2720! But In Euros there is only a 300
