Well if you know where to source a gen dial, I'm interested, for the feet I believe it is the same position as on the rep AFAIK, the gen also uses a 2892 base caliber...so it should fit no problem if the case is the correct dimension.

Well I own a Mcqueen 2894 and I wear it, dial and finish is about perfect for the price, the croc strap is of a GREAT quality IMHO and easy to wear, almost dress watch to me, believe me you'd wear it - What we can't do is wear only one watch a week, I alternate almost everyday now! That's why I own a reduced -but good- collection, a vintage omeage would be a nice touch though for me a 300 wouldn't look weird in my box!

What I thought also, the dial looks very good too with that nice strap! About that dial what can be done?

About the rep santos strap, it's indeed very very poor, I had all the troubles of the world finding a strap maker willing to make me a custom strap, but maybe Aaron could help us to have the plastic patern inside the strap used to recreate a gen alligator Santos 100 strap Meanwhile High res pics of the Santos 100 dial could be usefull.

Yes is supposed to be a lefty, but this watch is best worn on the left hand ironically. For us who wear watch on the right wrist a non destro panny is best

About that SANTOS DIAL, I would like to commission a perfect dial, an idea where I should ask, any dealer here have the abilities to commission parts? Given the fact that this is for a Cartier and not a PAM I believe only a few members are interrested. Let me know about that if this can be done this would be a great step forward.
