Hi everybody! I'm looking for a well done 1655 and I was thinking about MBK 1655 on Chris web site... What do you think about? What are the main flaws? I would install a gen tropic (or if I do not find it a Clark one would be ok....) and a gen crown/tube.... What do you think about my little vintage project? what does it need? Should I start with another 1655 base?

Well I'd buy it but there are too different version 5 from Chris!!! maybe you don't know which one you get until you see it... I read of mixing parts (V3 with V5 datewheel)... and of course PT supreme is not comparable with Chris V5...

I would go for the AP ROO black theme but I am too scared by the reliability of the movement.... So I'd wait for 1 ROC with correct size of one RO with white hexagonal screws.... ...maybe I'll remain without AP for a long time....

I'd be in when it'll be available the correct size version with the correct case back! P.s. Factories please do it!

I have one Explorer II CHS with white dial (don't know which version it is) and I'd like to do the same of you (of course with Domenico)!!! So, I have some questions to make you: - did you buy the parts separately or Domenico bought them for you? I was looking for 1 gen crown and tube on ebay but I don't know which version to buy.... - how much time did this job take? My compliments to you, and of course to Domenico!

I believe that building a franken 16520 would be more than 2k for me 'cause I m not a watchmaker...

Hi all, I am a little bit crazy and want to start a 16520 project. First of all, my base is a 16520 with swiss valjoux 7750 sec@9.... but from when I knew RWG I decided that I cannot live with its flaws even if the typical subdial spacing flaw is not a problem for me. So: I decided to: - put a gen crown and rework the CG - put a better dial - make the bezel flatter (not changing it, only pushing it and make it flatter than now in order to make the crystal more heigh) - clark crystal Excepet the clark crystal do you know where can I find the crown and the 16520 dial that fit a 7750?? p.s. Did someone make the same franken as me? Thanks all!

What is exteriorly the difference from a DW 6263 with 7750 and one with V72??

You are a Guru!! I must confess I felt in love with the AP ROO of my chief... he has one with grey dial and with a velcro strap (inner side) and outside a normal buckle... AMAZING!!! Do you know where can I purchase one like this?
