  1. I'm dropping off a de ville omega to him and a poljot aviator (bought them on eBay) he will be working his thing with those on Friday. Will be a few more to add to my collection! Anyone else wants a grade A service feel free to tap us up! more than happy to help all those in the UK or EU
  2. http://www.farfo.com/straps/kevlarcarbon.html LIKE THIS?
  3. Well the guy myself and Bibbs use, also serviced my Gen Omega, My Fathers vintage Chronograph and sorted out all the noise issues with my Euromariner, plus Bibbs's two Breitlings, all were preassure tested, service, new gasgets, mine had a new post and deep clean as the last time my old man got it serviced was 25yrs ago, and the gasket had turned to powder within the watch. The turnaround for all those watches was 9 days! If you want your watch servicing or fixing then let us know, its a proper pro job, and I think if you bank on it all being turned around within 2-3 weeks (if your outside the UK) then you cant go far wrong......as I said, he sorted ours out in 9 days and its back on my wrist. We are more than happy to help, if you post Bibbs your details, he will run you through the proceedure, its nice and simple. Servicing Cleaning New movements Regulating Preassure testing Repair's to crystal, plastic, pins, hands whatever. I'm over the moon with mine and he is very reasonable with prices too.
  4. Maybe my main post office needs to wake up then! As I said, I have NEVER been asked for any kind of I.D, and I get things most weeks, that I have missed from ebay.
  5. God I hope he does a good job now.........if he hands me a freezer bag full of jumbled up watch parts, giggling like a fool then I know its been a huge whopping mistake. *Sits and prays. LOL!
  6. Absolutly, two people is better than a one man band, would mean people here can get a quick turnaround (which we all know is rare in the rep game) and a proper service where the work is carried out to the full. I will be speaking to him later today, if he is happy with taking on the extra work then myself and Bibbs may suggest an idea to the UK end Euro Users on here, I know what a nightmare it can be if you have a stunning watch that you cant get serviced, or worse............fixed........, its a huge worry to have spent serious money on a watch and worry all the the time about what to do IF and When it breaks down due to having never been serviced. Will provide more info on this soon, and I'm sure Bibbs will write down the truth about the value for money he would have paid and the work carried out on his A7750's. I'm very straight down the line, no messing people about, and my Watchmaker is VERY passionate about his work, He has a personal collection of 1000's of mechanical watches Yea.......you read that right......., I saw a cabinates yesterday at his home with various Vintage Omega's, how the hell he collected so many over the last 40 odd years I will never know! He does not do Lume's but CAN get it done, although I got the impression he is not keen on getting involved as its very specialised. With regards to crystals, damage, broken movements, general servicing, replacing Asian movements with Swiss and everything else he is more than capable. Steve
  7. Thats awesome, congrats dude, still remember my daughter being born, I never stopped crying for about 10 minutes! lol Congrats to you both buddy!
  8. You mean get blown out like a candle in the wind?
  9. Well after much looking about on here and chewing over the prices, I'm sticking with my face to face watchmaker, he just gets more and more interesting, he will deal with others through myself. I have checked out the best prices on here and found him to be the best by a mile. So as much as I might regret it, if anyone is struggling and needs a watch servicing/repairing will be more than happy to help (in small numbers subject to another member here being happy with the quality of the work being carried out) I dropped 5 off to him today, two Breitlings A7750's, a Gen Omega, a vintage chrono and my Euromariner ETA. I am in the uk, he is very trustworthy. All watches will be stripped to their underpants and moving parts and then lovingly cleaned, lubricated then put back together, sprinkled with fairy dust & blessed with long life......then sent back at warp speed 9

Well seeing this economy has caused my house to drop by $80,000 in 10 months you could say I was feeling it LOL Fuel has dived a bit which is good, but on the whole I'm still pretty wreckless with money ( o really should be more carefull) I just hope the uk can come out the other side strong again!
  15. Love Omega's, would never buy a james bond theme watch, they do nothing for me. Not sure what it is, just hate the idea of having an expensive watch with a movie written across it.
