  1. I found this one on eBay. I researched the seller and the pics to try eliminate doubt on its authenticity. But I wasn't sure until I had it in my hands!
  2. Thanks! One thing still bugging me... The 30 min rider tab is offset. I might need to find a new bezel.
  3. Made the purchase and just finished the swap this morning!
  4. Will do! Thanks again Rolexman!!! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk - now Free
  5. I've decided to drop in a gen movement complete with dial and hands. I'm going to attempt to fix the Asian movement myself. With a 10x loupe I can see that the escapement is missing a jewel from one of the hammers. I'm pretty sure that's what's jamming it up. I have some spare parts. I'll be doing a lot of research on the best way to disassemble and reassemble. I may need some guidance here as well. Thanks again! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk - now Free

  7. Thanks guys! I can get it for $695 USD, that's the movement, dial, and hands set in. I thought it might drop in as is. Thanks again! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk - now Free
  8. It's an H-Fac with an A7750. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  9. Wait! Before everyone dog piles on me… This thing stopped working before I opened it up. I only opened it at a member's suggestion to see if there was something loose that was jamming the works. I found the reversing wheel click laying loose. I didn't mod it or change anything. But in all fairness, I will let the TD know what I did. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  10. I have the opportunity to purchase a gen Breitling 7750 movement complete with a gen Super Avenger black baton face. The seller is asking $895 USD. I was thinking of putting it in my rep case. Thoughts? Thanks! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk - now Free
  11. She's going back to the TD for warranty service. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk - now Free
  12. Very nice! Wow! Wear it in good health! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk - now Free
  13. Wait! So you're saying that if the tilting pinion is not set properly regardless that I have everything set properly on her then the regulator will bind up and not run? Do I have to take it apart again?! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk - now Free
  14. I think there is a general problem with the regulator mechanism! At one point I want to say that I saw what looked like a loose jewel under the regulator near what looks like that ratcheting wheel. At one point that wheel spun freely when I touched with the head of a needle. I barely touched it! I think something definitely came loose when I slapped it a couple times. There was a pinkish mass wedged under that arm under the regulator. I'm sure nothing I did above could've caused that. I believe that something came loose there that was binding the regulator and causing the movement to stop. I think this arrived with a problem from the factory. I'm try to get the TD to take back as defective. If not, then I'm going to need some help with this project! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk - now Free
  15. Thanks again Rolexman! That is awesome! Fortunately the mainspring click is in place. Unfortunately it was the reversing wheel click! I poured through so many images and threads and finally found one that provided me some reference. I took the bridge off again and put it back. I spent a couple of hours putting it back together (that damn clutch with that tiny gear). I also figured out on my own (so proud) that the little hole above the reversing wheel click was to engage it once I had the bridge back on. All back together! Looks like the balance assembly is binding. The watch won't run at all anymore. I think what Andrew told me to do put the nail in it. He had me wind the watch 30-40 times and slap the watch HARD against my palm. That basically killed it. It was intermittent before... now it's permanent! At this point I'll make arrangements to send it back to him. Thanks again! I look forward to learning more from you! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk - now Free
  16. I guess I was very fortunate that I got 5 yrs out of the A7750 that was in my Skyland v2. Just shows how unpredictable this movement can be out of the box. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk - now Free
  17. Thank you SSTEEL, yes that diagram will be very helpful in the future as I dig a little deeper and start to work on my 5 y/o 7750. Rolexman> that would be awesome! Thank you very much! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk - now Free
  18. So this is why the main spring is unwinding at the stem now? I'm still looking for a pic guide. It seems that most of the tutorials on here have lost their images. Can you guide me to some diagrams for the A7750 please? Is this something that I can do myself or do I need to send it off? Thanks! Paul Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk - now Free
  19. Anyone know where this part goes in a 7750? I only took off the bridge and this was laying near the hammer spring.
  20. It's brand new! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk - now Free
  21. Hey Guys! I need a little help here please! I have an H-Fac A7750 that stopped yesterday and wouldn't restart. I thought I had read somewhere on RWG that there's a known issue with these and that readjusting the regulator arm fixed it, but I have not been able to find it. So I went ahead and readjusted the arm but couldn't restart it without a gentle nudge of the balance wheel. I've been playing with it all day by readjusting the beat. I just closed the back because she's running at a good rate, well 24 hrs will tell me more. I put her on my wrist and it stopped again. I opened her up and it took a gentle nudge of the balance wheel for it start up again. Pulling the crown out and back in didn't start her up. I'm not sure if there's something binding the balance up. Now, I think it's important to note that I did remove the movement from the case when I got her about two weeks ago because of dust on the face. In addition to that, the crown was unscrewing from the stem. I torqued the crown down into the stem and its fine now. But... Is the stem now binding something in the movement? I have worn the watch a few times in the past two weeks and have it wound so it hasn't stopped since I got her. Yesterday is the first time that she stopped on me. I'd prefer not to send her back if its something that I can fix with a little guidance. Many thanks! Paul Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk - now Free

  23. Hey guys! My new SA just stopped working. I remember reading somewhere on this forum that there has been an issue with 7750s just stopping and moving the regulator arm fixed it. For the life of me I can't find where I read that. Am I imagining it? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk - now Free
  24. I too am a big Breitling fan. I have a gen Datora and it's a real beauty. None of the reps come close with those models. I had a rep Datora and side by side it wasn't even close. The AR is poor. As for reps, I prefer the Avenger series. Those are closer to their gens. You may want to take a peek at Graham as well. You're going to like the Super Avenger!
  25. Yup, Ram is right! The Skyland is the same size as the Seawolf; 45 mm. Not small at all! If you're going to change the strap often then not only would I invest in the right tool but additional spring pins as well. These Chinese pins come apart very easily. Two brand new reps that I received this week had two pins come apart while just adjusting the size.
