I've never had this problem before - and I live in an area that is known as a rough neighbourhood. My brother thinks I look imposing. I really don't understand why people say that. I've had a girl say to me she would cross over the street if I was coming the other way because of the way I look. Not much I can do about that Anyway, you could be right with the reps. A reason that people say for getting reps is to keep the original in the safe and wear the rep. The brand most targetted will be r*l*x though. At the moment I doubt PAMs will be targetted, though strap on a 1950 or 187 and hit any assailant over the head with it! I hope you feel better soon...

Panerais - the most accurate PAM reps on the market

Definitely, I'm prepared to be patient on that... have too many watches that need their time -
Slow down a little on the (rumoured) hundred watches you've got to work on. Spend more time and enjoy yourself. When something becomes too much of a job, some of that spark goes.

Yes it's crazy and I can't afford this addiction! Some I have or on the way, all Luminors so far... 001, 028, 029, 036, 063, 092, 127, 188, 192, 196, 212 All ETA, apart from the Asian 7750b1 092 and the Venus copy in the 192. ETAs 2893, 2892, 6497, 7750, 7753. I should have put a deposit on a house instead When the 187, 194 is available in ETA 7753 etc it'll get worse -
I have a low limit credit card... don't really want a high limit and all that temptation. Problem is dealing in dollars... the credit card company will stick a stupid conversion rate and I'll end up paying even more

And it's because of injuries I don't play nowadays... too much pain afterwards. It's now to soccer... I just hate it when people change the rules and say no shooting from the half way line...

Basketball is the game I was actually good at playing. At one point I could do a standing jump and grab hold of a 10 foot high ring. I'm only 5'11. I'd been working out and getting into shape for the first time in my life at that point, but then I got injured, and after that was lazy Who knows, maybe I could have played at a higher level if I hadn't been so lazy!

Agreed. It's when someone tries to pass off a rep as the real thing, in order to make money, that there is a problem.

I had just got the 028a in stainless steel for a finepics PVD job (from EL) so I'll have to miss out on that 222 for now. I have too many PAMs already, but am interested in the rose gold 231, the 194 and 187 when they eventually become available to everyone. -

I still can't get into liking "CAlifornia" dials... I wonder why?

Nowadays, with endorsements, the top earner is probably Ronaldinho (the best player in the world) or David Beckham, who makes around $40-50 million a year I think. -
Great story We'll get some copy cats now trying to emulate that unique nanuq moment edited for spelling. i think i need a new keyboard!

I've already gone on the 036 and will live with the "L SWISS L". Maybe I'll go for a 176 or 177 in future (with sandwich dial). I've also gone on the new 127 with working swan neck instead of the 217 -

First, the mafia seduce him with their cocaine and women (and all those court cases - some true, some false - to get child support money for their kid. One Italian woman named her son Diega Armando Maradona Jr, and he plays for Napoli youth team, and it's since been proven that he really is Diego's son); Second, opponents kicked him so much he couldnt even get onto the pitch without pain killers to stop the agony; Third, lots of people have made more money from his name - Napoli themselves would probably never have won anything let alone 2 league titles without him - and probably no other player could have single-handedly had this big affect on success; Fourth, the Italian government retrospectively tax him, and probably at a rate more than he had earned by the level of taxes levied - 31 million. Even nowadays, the highest salary that a club pays is around 4-5 million pounds a year (almost $8-10 million) not including marketing/advertising. -
Hey I'm the one with like 6 or 7 Italian jerseys, regularly wearing them to work. Gotta be realistic. Zambrotta is injured and out, Gattuso is injured for the first game or 2. Lack of creativity in midfield, but defence and attack are strong. Problem is that Totti is just back from injury and a lot is reliant on him. He was dominating Serie A before his injury - a big part of Roma's record-setting run of games. And don't forget, any squad that has Marco "The Matrix" Materazzi in it will be vulnerable, even if he may get a goal or two!

Well if you are American or in America, your country is there too... just not the greatest team. Teams with a great chance are: Brasil, Argentina, England ... and if they ever get their act together, Spain (but they always screw it up). France will [censored] it up with their silly tactics and team selection (Giuly isn't even in the squad!). Germany will do ok but can't see them winning. Outside bets, Czech Republicm Portugal (no pressure this time) and Holland perhaps? Ivory Coast should do ok too. Ghana are strong but no strikers.

That's odd... I wonder what's happening with my order? I was offered the same watch from andrew and silix, but went with Joshua due to his reputation and cheaper price. Hope it turns out great
-
Not necessarily. I've been waiting almost two weeks with no tracking number yet, so we'll see how much longer it takes.

There's always more... limited editions, centenary editions, non-sponsored versions, new designs coming out every year, retro shirts etc etc. Have a look at toffs.co.uk (i think) if you like retro shirts.

Last time I tried sending online they rejected it after having to call them. It cost the same to send in cash through the local WU agent, but it was almost 20% of the value of money I was sending

I know silix have had LOTS of problems with paypal as i have been refunded and and then paid again a number of times. They've been good about everything though as usual. With WU, every time I make a payment they ask me to call, and the last one I did (for around USD$160) they refused to do, so I had to get to a shop with WU to do it. Considering I had sent more than double that to silix before, it was odd I was refused, although that was to Paul/Aspire Moneybookers incurs a charge of 7-10% when transferring money to your moneybookers, and the spend limit is only recycled every TWO MONTHS. Far too long really. I know silix can accept dollar amounts via their credit card processor, so that may be the way to go for many people. They can also accept bank transfers, but that incurs charges ... at least from here it does
