  1. Here´s my home PC And here´s my work laptop
  2. Bringing this "half old" post to life again. Also after a GMT version. Anyone got some experience..? Mike on a bike, did you find one?
  3. Bought the Mont Blanc Legend yesterday. I was in the shop a couple of days erlier and tried it on, and was amazed.. the sent stayd on for almost 2 days. But... Now that I bought it and uses is, I feel like the sent is gone in a couple of hours What do you think, does it last long on you guys?
  4. Hey... I missplaced my Ferrari 458, wanna step up Seriously... What an amazing gesture from you mate. Some people on here blows my socks off, and I can honestly say that I'm not only here for the watches anymore..
  5. Thanks, Legend it is then. Just need to find a good rep of the MontBlanc TimeWalker also
  6. OK, which one do you prefer of these two? It´s been a while since you posted this so maybe you got more experience :-) Anyone else use the MontBlanc series? Think I will buy the Legend next time...
  7. Hi! One thing often leads to another. Being a watch enthusiast means you get in contact with a lot of steel. So hereby I wanted to start a tread dedicated to nice steel sources.. Post your favorite pics or vids, and also a story if you have. I´ll start: Vid:
  8. That's so true.. The things people write on forums, Facebook and YouTube comments are insane. If they would say the same thing in public they would get knocked out. (my personal opinion is that a lot of these comments are from juveniles) This anonymous option to express yourself brings out the worst in some people..
  9. Thanks.. Good read Skickat från min HTC Desire S via Tapatalk 2
  10. Don´t get me wrong i still think a LV handbag is a real beauty.. and a JLC watch is show of craftsmanship.. but could it be made for the fraction of a price. Of course... When you have the blueprint in front of you As it´s in our nature to show who´s strongest and best (both animals and human), but we have gone from physical violence to be "king of the hill" , to the use of money and wealth. So all these high end brands, both clothing and watches, which provides the means to be "king of the hill", will keep on provide these products at these prices. Just check a Hermes Birkin bag.. $7000 and a waiting list to get them.. What?!?! are they made of Alien skin? Even if you get the finest leather, and order pure gold bits to stitch on , then ask the best saddler to create a new bag.. it won´t cost $7000 It´s in the name and status of the product. Ralph Laurens exclusive stuff is made in Italy. But things like the Polo shirts that are available in department stores are made in the Philippines. Don´t think it´s hard to get someone to make the same quality fabric in china Hey, just look at our fine community... People putting together frankens that are almost 1:1 for a "fraction of the price" Keep up the good work KB, I think I´ll put in some orders for Christmas (or am I to late )
  11. Well not unbranded.. But these got quite good reviews.. Found review both on watchuseek and RWI. They are listed at €499 ($645). But on ebay I've found them for $430. http://www.watchoutletberlin.com/index.php?cat=c152_Tourbillon.html Skickat från min HTC Desire S via Tapatalk 2
  12. Thanks Alex. While searching for these skeleton watches I found one german store selling them: www.watchoutletberlin.com/Skeleton But while browsing thier site I also found the AATOS Tourbillion.. for $645 ?? (Ebay at $430) Check them out: www.watchoutletberlin.com/Tourbillon Did a couple of searches, nothing came up on RWG, but WatchUSeek and RWI had a couple of reviews. Alls seems pleased with this budget tourbillion. I might go Tourbillion instead of Skeleton..
  13. Found one I liked on ebay.. <br /><br /><br /><br />Ebayhttp://www.ebay.com/itm/150823465334
  14. Thanks mate.. I´m also not to fond of the text printed on like that. I´m more after this look, dress watch/skeleton.. more open
  15. Hi.. Been of the rep/watch market for a while (to much work and to much house "flipping"). But we all fall back, don't we. Thinking of starting up with a skeleton watch.. Not looking for any specific brand/rep, but more a "much bang for your buck" watch. A couple of years ago I bought a so called Skelton on ebay.. But it was a cheap one and not really what I call skeleton. So I'm not after the cheap ebay versions but still not want to pay $500 either. Anyone with a good source..? 16. Nice shots man Specs on that Ploprof, lume look sick :-)
  17. Just wanted to share.. Are educated watch buyers more valuable customers
  18. Yea, I like the last one in the vid.. the one with the "double tourbi" But man does he have fat arms... I mean , he has the strap on the first pin and still it´s not loose on him..
  19. True that.. so that all non-watch-lovers can laugh at you rocking a stupid $1000 "non-watch-tourbillon-rep" of an even more stupid $150.000 "non-watch-tourbillon" HAHA Hey Gran, Can I hire you when I´m in need of expert Google Image search..
  20. Ok guys. Not going to do a write up here, so I just past a link to Ariels blog because he describes this well.. But In short, Haldimann releases a watch that only has a movement, no dial or nothing.. you´r only supposed to listen to the ticking for $150.000.. The most stupid thing ever
  21. If it's your first time shopping i think you should go for something cheaper, get the feel for some models. Then when you stuck with this hobbie (which you will be soon, trust me) you could advance to "heavier" deals and maybe Franken projects (rep watches with genuine parts). But if I should recommend you to a nice dealer for your first by, I think you should contact Narika/Reg. He's in the trusted dealers section. He's one of the best I have delt with. He can source watches that gives you "much bang for your bucks" and also he can ship from UK which will minimize the custom issues that could be with Asian dealers. Read up on all those wonderful reviews available on this forum and good hunting.. Lycka till..
  22. Nice to hear.. Keep up faith and take on day at a time. Will have my 6th anuall checkup now on Feb 24. Can't believe it was 6 years ago.. Cheers mate.
