  1. So why did you go with non-SEL's on your Sea-Dweller? Wasn't it the special feature of the gen 16600 to introduce solid end links on the sports models? I mean even the transitional 16660's already came with SEL's.
  2. Hi archibald! So will these be overlays only or complete wheels?
  3. The 289x ETA's are not that important to me. I don't have any GMT's or PR's. But I'd really like to have 2-3 of these announced 7750 wheels/overlays. Are they already available? Couldn't find anything via the search function. If not... maybe pics of samples? Price?
  4. Take a look at the third pic. They even had to hoist some alcoholic beverages to get into the mood. Seems like those sissies wouldn't have the balls without it. How lame! Just imagine they would have been caught by some employee of that railroad company or police officer. I guess then the last laugh was on him..... I suggest they should give it another try with his 16613. But this time while he's wearing it.....
  5. If you're referring to this one click! I really don't know where's the"WOW-thing" with it. Looks exactly like all the others, offered by all the dealers. Give it a try and use the "search" button. You may find out that there's nearly nothing special around when it comes to YM reps. There is - or has been - a pretty nice one from EL that was really close except for the dial. I think that this is the best so far. All the others are WAY off. Including the one you're talking about here.
  6. Hmm..... Maybe I'm not 100% up to date about this.... but didn't Mark only make these for the 7753? And as far as I've been told those won't fit the Asian 7750's Please correct me if I'm wrong but I thought this was the last info so far?
  7. Like Ali G. used to say: "Shaven Aven .... RESPECT!!!"
  8. YEP! That would be the icing on the cake for a nice variety of reps. Just imagine sth. like the 87 or 64 "bombas" with correct datefont. Also the new 2500's.....
  9. OUCH!!! Now that's my boy! Man, that thing is huge! I might give it a try... but I guess I'd end up ruining all my shirts sleeves polishing it all the time....
  10. Yes, but on the outside it's worse than before. That's the detail which is spoiling it for me. I looked at all the so far published pics and it seems like it's sometimes more sometimes less crooked. Guess you have to be lucky to draw a good one?
  11. Genuine Dial....? Anyone....? Bueller.....? Give it some time buddy, they will show up some day. Why is everyone talking about the hands? What is wrong with them? They are indeed longer compared to the previous hands, aren't they? So what else is wrong?
  12. I would go for the 253 it's nicer compared to the 212. Don't think there will be any better version of it.
  13. I don't think that the orange color on the bezel is really that big of an issue. The previous also looked like that on the pics and way better in person. The only thing that's keeps me from hitting this one right away is the "new" crown. It was better on the version before. Maybe Trusty could clear this up if it's only a prototype on the pics or if this is how they come? What I also noticed on Andrew's additional pics is the bracelet Ref.Nr on the endlinks (951) which is now etched instead of stamped. I think this was also the case on the gen I once tried on at the AD. So this could be added as another improvement.
  14. @ mezzanine From the comparison shots you may see in his review that his PO has the beefier case back. So that should be the 2836-powered.
  15. A fact I didn't notice so far... yes, they say it's 2824. But after looking at those new pics for so long now it seems that the previous version had a nicer crown.
  16. Seems like the days of the Bond seamaster being the perfect rep are close to be counted. 45mm PO Longer hands and better pearl (still some 10ths of a mm too low), serial number, smaller Omega logo and all the nice goddies fromearlier generations.... On the pics it even looks like a thinner caseback. WOW!!! WOW!!!
  17. The font on the dial is still wrong. It's thicker now... but still wrong.
  18. Hi! I think when you use the search function you should find a review on this version. The "6-9-12" numbers on the dial are too big and it has the wrong datefont. I think only Andrew and joshua are offering the latest version so far. For example this one: Link to TWG It's not that much more expensive but way better overall.
  19. @ Neil I guess you hit it on the head too with that posting.
  20. Is there still some kind of protective plastic on the bezel of that PO? Looks a bit weird.....
  21. Then he would be out of business..... the next one will be better but will have flaws too. But that's the game and YES I agree with Neil, this IS the best so far. I really like the improved datewheel.
  22. Hmmm........ Did I miss the joke....? What's perfect about this one? Custom dial? Please Andrew! Enlighten me! Click!
  23. One question about that Collector's Box: Is it of the same height like the regular Panerai boxes?
