Okay... let's give this another shot.
The font, finish and everything about the dial looks like it's one of these: NDTrading
Which would answer questions No. 2 and 3
Hi there!
Are the bracelets identical throughout the different versions of the SSD?
It's because I'm looking for an additional link.
In the meantime I have fitted a spare link from a Submariner, but not only is that one brushed on the sides, also the screwhead is on the wrong side.
Maybe someone even has one he might want to let go?
Here's a nice dial for it.
Even comes with hands.
And at least the date would be centered then....

Some years ago a lot of people would have deliberately killed their whole family for a 16600 like the SSD. So I don't know if words like "[censored]" apply.... (Especially as we all know that the SEL's look way better in the flesh. At least on mine they do.)
I also don't know if I would be willing to fork out 600 something on a WM9 SD.
Because if the ROLEX font on the dial SUCKS like on each and every WM9 out there I had to change the dial to eliminate a flaw much more visible than the "oh so bad rehaut" of the current SSD.
Lookswise I'd definitely prefer the one from Perfect Clones.
It has lug holes, nicer CGs, and seems to come without the laser-etched crown on the crystal.
Just because I prefer the older style... well.. that's my opinion.
Apart from that:
Don't know what the others say, but IMO the CGs on King's look way off.

You did realize I assume, that even apart from the differences regarding the movement, those
two watches you picked out are completely different?
That's not exactly correct.
The 3rd pic shows a "Navitimer 1461" which is a mildly less expensive model.
The Quantieme Perpetuel QP95 would have even more hands and an additional subdial
around the moon phase indicator at 3 o`clock.
Hi folks!
Wow.....! First time online since.... don't know.... November or so?
Counter says "View New Posts (9998)" OMG!!!
Maybe I have to ask someone to give me a quick breakdown of everything I've missed
during the last months.
But it's definitely nice to see that everything is still up and running like ususal.
I guess it's time for me now to check out the latest masterpieces.
Big mistake!
Most probably you won't be happy with a watch just because someone says it's the best.
By the way.... do you really believe there is a "best" "ultimate" "perfect" or whatsoever?
For example:
What if everyone would vote for the "Ultimate 45mm PO"? Would you be [censored] if there was a "more than Ultimate 45mm PO" 3 days after you received yours?
Find yourself a watch you like and then browse the forum about it.
And most of all: Take your time.
IMO that would be the best start for a noob to get into this.
This particular thread here won't find an end. There are new watches almost everyday.
You could as well reduce the whole board into this single thread.
And that's not what it's all about. You will find out soon.
There's much more to discover and discuss.
