  2. Ok guys, i need your expert knowledge here Today i purchased a gen longines (pics below) and i got a rather strange problem, first time met at a chrono mvnt Seems that even though the chronograph is stopped and reset the hour counter at 6 o'clock keeps running and hour counting! Any ideas before i hit the AD service?
  3. I totally agree with that R, it was more of an informative post for our members rather than a red alert of course, just happened to stamble on and thought to share with RWG. Besides it's a 3 months old thread.

  9. Yeap, allready did that, but OMG... i mean, are there really people out there who would fall for such stupid attempts of scamming?
  10. I got to say D, there is not a single sale i made in here that i regreted doing it, this is why RWG is my No1 and only place for trading
  11. Well i only hope that he didn't call the Navy Seals or the Marines... i've heard they are pretty tough cookies But like Joerg said, i do have fun with this one!!! totally recommend as well
  12. Ok, about a week ago i listed my Iphone 4 (which was finally bought by an RWG member yesterday) on the bay at a buy it now price of 1030usd A buyer with 0 feedback bid and won it at this price... while i was waiting for the payment to be sent through ebay, this guy sends me an email asking me my PP address and if i was willing to send the phone to his friend in Nigeria since it was meant to be a birthday present. Naturally i responded that he should first complete payment through the EBAY route, i also sent him a second invoice i case he had failed to receive the one the EBAY had sent him. I received a second email at my gmail account asking me again to send him my PP address, i told him that he should follow ebay rules and pay me through there. He said he did not want to go through ebay and asked me my PP address for the third time... after that i received a notification from a paypalverified@easy.com address that a payment has been made to my gmail address which of course is not my PP address!!! Here is the email Note that although the amount he had to send was 1090 (1030+60 shipping), he allegedly send 1105 usd!!! Take a look at our emails exchange, you might find it interesting!!! _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ On Fri, Mar 25, 2011 at 9:38 PM, John Mar <jmarin.72@gmail.com> wrote: First you fail to comply to the EBAY rules and try to fool me with a fake PAYPAL verification note that a sum of 1105usd (although the price that you had to pay was only 1090!!!)has been sent to jmarin.72@gmail.com...although i have already told you that this is not my PP account... Second you have the nerve to call me a scammer and threaten me with a US military report.... C'mon now... accept the fact that the scam that you have tried to pull did not work and move on to the next victim my friend... Have nice day!!! Oh and BTW, even if what you said was true, that you have sent funds to PP account jmarin.72@gmail.com... First... there is no such PP account Second... read below the notification this account has received from "PAYPAL", notice that mentions that the funds will not be credited to this account (which of course does not exist!!!) until the owner sends tracking number... hence... not tracking number... no funds transfer....so you did not lose anything... assuming that you have send funds to this account.... which of course this is not true....as we both very well know... Now, i cannot believe that you are so idiot to think that i would fall for any of your stupid tricks and claims... So move on and try to find a new victim for your tricks. 15. It has been 2 years since my first RWG experience....i have since then get to know some of the finest and most talented people in the entire online watch forums community. Kind people with skills, knowledge and true love for just about everything that goes ticking or swiping!!! Without any kind of prejudice regarding replica watches, homages e.t.c, just true and unquestionable love for watches and watchmaking. Met some great modders... skillful guys and been blessed to witness their work, some even greater watchmakers who have no hesitation to handle and service replica watches, replica watches yes...but with true and genuine movements... Made some good friends as well, although we are not talking to each other everyday i know that whenever i need them they will be there to support me, that is what make me feel proud and well. So many things to say...i could go on for ages!!! Many many thanks to the admin team who has managed to set such a great forum and make it running the way it does... Many many thanks to all the people i've met and exchanged pm's with For me this is the TOP 1 online community out there, second to none... I wish you all and your families a happy holidays season, you guys rock!!! Steve...i still owe you the pastitsio recipe!!! i have not forgot this one you know!!! J

  17. Excellent choice by our ADMIN TEAM Three well known members with great knowledge and skills John
  18. Well seems that lately HK post is a little slow.I usually get the items in about 7 days but i am currently waiting for a SONY VAIO battery shipped from HK to EU on 3-NOV-10!!! Hope we get our mails soon my friend. J
  19. Damn, now why didn't i think of that!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Slick!!! Seriously now, yes you are right, it is not realistic comparing pics taken from various angles and with various lighiting conditions just like it is not realistic to be expecting an ss insert to be able to match a plati one in every aspect Just sharing some observations, hence the YM owners chime in call, i would love to listen to your observations as well
  20. I was just wondering, has anyone ever compared the WM9 YM insert next to a gen one? I find the color of the WM9 insert to be a little dull and plastic. For the past 15-20 days i have been studing a lot of pics and videos of gens and in the vast majority depending on the angle the pic or video was taken the color seems to have a lot of variations, from dark grey up to frozen silver (i am not talking about the numbers on the insert of course) and i was kinda wondering if someone has ever compare the rep next to the gen. I have found a gen bezel/insert set on the net so i was thinking of getting it and have the entire WM9 bezel/insert replaced. What is your opinion guys?
  21. +1000 TRF seems to be at the same direction as well...every time someone posts a pic of his new shinny blinky Rollie everyone runs to chime in and compliment the OP.The best thing is that even if sometimes someone posts pics of a rep, it takes them for ages to realize that the watch they run so eagerly to compliment is a replication...some times a low grade one!!! and i love the way they run to defend the OP when this happens by flaming the guy who discovered that and brought it to their attention
