  1. I would suggest that you stick with one of the popular dealers here....they all carry the same reps. Then find a rep you like and ask about It..you know...get other members opinion on the watch. Also look for reveiws here about the watch(s) that you are Interested In. Good luck. Mike
  2. See Phil...you learn something new everyday around here. People are always telling me.."hey Mike...thats some pretty good [censored] you got there" Mike
  3. A sprits on your shirt or article of clothing can also Increase the longivity of a fragrance. But be carfull of the the darker juices...some may stain your shirt/clothing I sometimes spritz a little on a [censored] or sweater..but make sure to use the lighter citrus based sents. I have not stained any clothing as of yet. Remember you just want a mist...so keep the sprayer at least a foot a way when spraying. Mike
  4. I actually think that looks pretty good. yes..It's kind of on the big side...but dont think It looks ridiculous like some of the bigger pieces. Plus I like the Hublot diver....good looking watch Imo. Mike
  5. I think this video should have been titled "my favorite watches" to say this or that is the greatest will always be argued....no matter what the watch. I mean one could say that Breitling is just a Pilot watch...then another could say that the sub is just a divers watch. I honestly dont get the point there. I cant Ignore the Seiko 6139. although the waters can get muddy on this topic. I do know that Breitling Heuer Zenith and Seiko competed to develop the world's first automatic chronograph movement..I believe the Seiko Inhouse 6139 was the first "production" automatic chronograph. Historical significance? I would have to say so. Mike.
  6. I say "no rules". But educating your nose to the different notes and how they react to each other In vital. My first combining of two fragrances was D&G Pour Homme and D&G The One. The Tobacco notes of each complement one another Imo. Some of my favorite notes are leather tobacco coffee/espresso and a boozy sent...say like a really good scotch/bourbon. I resently have layerd Theirry Mugler's Pure Malt(boozy) Pure havane (tobacco) Pure Coffee(espresso). Duh They go so very well together...and It makes the sent your own. This Is also a great way to find a signature sent. I also like to throw some John Varvatos Vintage and John varvatos by John varvatos Into the mix. Some nice leather and dried fruit notes to go with the Tobacco etc. I would suggest that you spend some time at Basenotes.com and Fragrantica.com. Some very good Infomation and reviews at these fragrance communites. Let us know what works for you....good luck. Mike
  7. I agree...the Nav is a beautiful watch. I also agree with the bling thing... never cared much for gold on any watch. Just not a gold type of guy when It comes to watches. Mike
  8. Of course I dont take these "greatest watches of all time" list to seriously....lets face it...different watches mean different things to a varity of different people. But I feel overall It's a compelling list of some very nice....dare I say "Iconic" watches. Im a huge fan of the Nav and Speedy...so I was especially pleased to see these two make the list. I dont think to many here will be terribly surprised at his top picks. These are watches In his personal collection....not a bad collection I must say. This guy acts like a ass In some of his videos...but I feel that he sticks pretty well to the task at hand here. Enjoy. Mike.
  9. A Men... to that bro. Prada Amber for me today.
  10. Trustytime...hmmmm sounds Interesting. http://www.rwg.cc/forum/65-trusty-time/
  11. Pure Ice?...ha ha...nice one...how about Pure [censored] Mike
  12. Welcome to RWG Archie... Im happy to hear you rock. Mike
  13. Here you go Val..you can use mine. A very nice gesture by Relaxman. Mike
  14. I wish there were a rep of this fine looking Mont Blac...but If there is...I have never seen one. I have always admired the MB TW series. I hope to pick up the Pilot version one day. Although the date wheel at the six Is sunken..I really dont think It looks that bad. Better than the DW at the four Imho. Mike
  15. Thierry Mugler Pure Malt for me today. All I can say is "thank goodness his fragrances are nothing like his watches"
  16. I say people should wear whatever there comfortable wearing. My preference Is between a 43mm-46mm. But some of these bigger watches really look silly on some people. About six months ago I saw this guy wearing a Nixon while dinning out one evening...Im not sure what model it was.. but It had to be at least 52mm...If not bigger. It looked like a clown watch on this guys wrist...I mean the case of the watch was bigger than his fist. I honestly dont know what these people are thinking when they purchase these things. Oh well...to each his own I guess. The picture below looks exactly like the guys wrist at the restaurant. Mike
  17. I would ask the seller If he would take a few extra pics. It's very difficult to see If the CG lever is flush. From that second pic It looks like It may not be as flush as you might like. It seems like this is the number one problem with Pam rep CG these days. Good luck. Mike
  18. Congratulations...a story with a very happy ending...nice. Mike
  19. There you go nwolf...looks good. What a difference a straight on shot can make. Let us know when you get your new watch....enjoy. Mike
  20. Im not that familiar with the 390 base..but I think the CG's are brushed...not polished. I think It shoud fit but I would make sure about the finish. I guess you could always brush It yourself...If necessary. Mike
  21. Some good points have been brought up here by Cougar and Adeodatus...these pics are not helping Josh nor nwolf. I thought maybe the bezel was just off a click...after hearing Josh say the bezel was fine...I tried to look at my own PO with the bezel off one click. The thing is my PO looks like It;s off a click. The pearl Is clearly to the right or left of the 12 hour marker. The qc pics are not clear enough to say the same...No matter how long and hard (thats what she said) ..I look at those qc pics..I cant say with 100% certainty that the bezel Is ok. I also have to agree with the other comments here...how fooking hard Is It to take a "straight on" picture. I suck at taking pics but I can take a straight on shot. These angle shots are cute...but these are not whats needed when selling a watch. I believe Josh when he says that there is nothing wrong with a watch...that being said...sometimes dealers make mistakes...for a varity of reasons. Being extremely busy Im sure Is one of them.. It seems like anytime...anywhere..when someone questions a qc pic...the answer Is always the same. "Watch Is fine...may I procede?" I think this Is Chinese for.." [censored] you round eyes...I send you watch anyway" Mike
