  1. Here's the latest discussion on the Steelfish...should answer most of your questions. http://www.rwg.cc/to...-new-steelfish/ Mike
  2. Some really nice gens can be purchased for that price or a little more...even nicer ones on the pre owned market. At the end of the day It's still a rep...reguardless of movement. If having a Swiss movement is worth that kind of money to you...fine...go for It. But for me the answer would be a resounding....no way Jose. Mike
  3. Well done P4GTR...beautiful FFF.
  4. Thanks for the heads up....going to go over there and take a look around. Mike
  5. Hey guys....picked up a bottle of Allure Homme Sport by Chanel last night at Nordstroms. I got bit of a discount with the buyer rewards program. I have always heard good things about this fragrance..but untill now I have never tried It. Well Im so happy I did....It is a very fresh clean creamy sent....outstanding fragrance. Imo this can be worn year around and In any situation. At the office or night out...or anything else you can think of...extremley versatile. Chanel says the bottle was Inspired by there J12 watch. Marc shares his thoughts on Allure Homme Sport.
  6. Great advice Zigmeister...as always...thanks. Mike
  7. The only minor disappointment for me Is the bezel engravings...I do wish they were a bit deeper. That being said...this is a very well done rep that I would be proud to own. Im still holding out for the yellow SW. With my luck..as soon as I purchased one of these the SW would come out the very next day...with my luck that is. Thanks again for the outstandings pics Snpr...well done. Mike
  8. Good to hear you had a safe and sleepy night.... It's Friday...time to do It again.
  9. Been there done that..many times Im afraid. Enjoy the buzz.
  10. Yes...It is referred to as the a7750....all of the dealers here carry reps with this movement. It's been a very accurate time keeper and reliable movement for me....and I have had many. Mike
  11. Very very Impressive list you have here. I honsetly cant take exception with any of your choices. Now all you need Is a Australian accent. Good job Adeodatus. Mike
  12. The Asain 7750 Is a very popular movement In are chronograph reps.

  14. I agree...for the most part anyway. I love the SpeedMaster..one of my all time favorite watches. Mike
  15. I guess It depends on how you look at It. I look at the movement and the fit and finish. If people want to assume my $5000.00 Ananta or Grand Seiko Is no different than there $200.00 Monster...thats fine with me. Im also not looking to Impress anyone. Im also not suggesting anyone here Is. The thing Is...people who really appreciate horology know the difference...and If they dont ...oh well. Bmw makes a 3 series that can be purchased In basic duds for around $40.000. They also makes the 7 series 760LI with the 6.0L V12 twin turbo that gets very close to $140.000. The same can be said for MB C series and a AMG spec S series. This may not be the best example but some companys that make top of the line and very expensive products can also make average priced cars or watches or whatever for the average guy or gal. I believe Seiko will be using the Credor name on some of these higher end pieces. But to me..It really makes no difference. Mike
  16. Kudos to Seiko who Is always at the forefront of the Indurstry. While the great Swiss watch makers still rest on there laurels year after year... using modified ETA's, Seiko continually produces Improvements In the world of horology. With over 1.000 prototypes, and nearly 40 years In development....here we have the amazing Seiko Spring Drive movement. With fit and finish second to none, and a movement which Is far more technical and precise than Swiss COSE..... Spring Drives are certainly a very special movement. Now.. Im not saying that Seiko is a better watch than this or that brand...what I am saying is.. Seiko established In 1881.. has had a profound effect on the watch making world...and deserves to be respected In this reguard. Mike
  17. Indeed...or..I dont think my [censored] stinks.

  19. How is Seiko funny?. Oh wait...I get It...It dosent have "Swiss made" on the dial.
  20. Very nice Snpr....thanks for taking the time to post those fantastic pics and video. The white dial may be a little off the gens.. but It seems to be so close that no one will ever notice....especially with the bluish ar reflections. The only thing Im not crazy about Is the price...but Im sure when the SW come out they will be about the same as far as price Is concerned. Well done...thanks. Mike
