  1. Well the AR on your Sinn sure looks good to me....the dial is nice and clear. Although the dealers show the SW on there sites...they are not available now...hopefully soon. After you have your watch serviced...It should be good for at least five years Imo....If not longer. Hope this helps. Mike
  2. Welcome to the hood RichyRich....hope you like your new crib. Mike
  3. Again....thanks for the great suggestions and advice guys. One thing for sure...Im gaining a new found respect for the Tissot brand. I have found some nice vintage pieces around the $800-1.000 price point. but those watches are not In the same condition as the Tissot...not by a long shot In some cases. Im going to offer $1000.00 and see if I get a counter offer. I would go to $1.200. we will see what happens. I am In love with this watch. Thanks again guys. Mike
  4. "The date does not follow" I have never heard of this before....as far as I know the date changes over like any other watch. The date is set via the crown. As Jkay said.... none of are trusted dealers should have a problem sending It to Canada. Perfect Clones is one of RWG's most popular dealers. Open link..then close It...then open It again If necessary. Good luck. Mike http://www.1-pc8838....800-p-3681.html
  5. Some very nice examples above...but I just cant seem to take my eyes off that Tissot. something abouit that silver dial. That Sky chief is also a thing of beauty. But It dosent mention anything about being WP/WR...and that is Important to me. I just may give them a call on the SC and ask a few questions. That price sure makes It very tempting. . Thanks for the fine suggestions/advice gents....I really appreciate It. Mike
  6. Thats my personal promise to you W..If I buy It...lots of pics. Mike
  7. That is a very nice Sinn...the ar looks very well done...your crystal seems to have vanished. The Breitling SW(excellent rep) are not available at the moment...maybe In a few more months. I would like to get a yellow dial one day. The Skyland is a excellent rep...I would take a good look around here and read some of the reviews. I believe there are a few used ones for sale in the "watches" section. Trustywatchguy...Andrew...Is one of RWG's most trusted dealers. I have had many reps with the A7750...no serious problems to report so far. But If you plan on keeping It for more than a year or so...then It's a good idea to have It serviced. It's a excellent movement In my opinion. Good luck. Mike
  8. Thanks Nanuq...I especially like that last Breitling....very nice. @ Adeodatus...I had a feeling you might have a opinion...and I appreciate you sharing your considerable vintage expertise on the subject...thanks. Mike
  9. Many gen Panerai owners purchase there straps from http://www.heroic18.com/index.php. I have two of there straps....excellent quality. Mike
  10. I've never really cared for Tissot...not a hater...they just dont Interest me that much. But this is a Tissot like have never seen before. I find It absolutely gorgeous....just stunning. I have been looking Into vintage pieces lately...was hoping to find a sporty/dress watch....something I could dress up...or dress down. I think I found my watch. The discription is spot on In It's reference to the pre-moonie Omega....right down to the Tissot cal 6965 movement....made by Lemania. I wasnt planning on spending around $1.500 for a watch atm....but I feel my money would be well spent on this magnificant piece thats around 65 years old. It has been recently serviced and has a new leather strap...which I would most likely change anyway. It really hits all the right buttons with me....from the tear drop hour markers to the the domed crystal and detail work within the sub dials....just love It. I was thinking of making a offer...say $1000.00...and see If they come back with a counter offer. I guess it wouldnt hurt. Any opinions from you vintage guys out there....thanks. Mike http://www.vintagewa...?p=771#more-771
  11. I would say there about the same as far the dial size go's....there both 49mm case size. If I were to get a Bently model it would be the big date 6.75 with running secs@ the three. Not perfect but over all a pretty nice rep of a beautiful watch. Mike
  12. I guess http://www.ofrei.com/page_146.html Is a good place to purchase your bezel ring replacement. Or try http://www.cousinsuk.com/ If you're located In the UK.
  13. I'll take the bear crap over the pubber Nanuq. Mike
  14. Sounds like some good advice bro...Im going to have to try that...thanks. mike
  15. It's a pretty nice PO..but like stated above...a after market bezel ring would make It much much better. Unfortunately they cant seem to get the pearls right on these....and most other reps. That being said....good rep PO Mike
  16. "dont think he will ruin his reputation for a watch"....dont be to sure....others have done just that. It dosent happen often...but It does happen. Just so you know.
  17. Good to see you Pho..I was wondering where you were hiding. Mike
  18. Rep cologne is not like the good value we have In are rep watches. Not only can rep cologne have chemicals that can harm your skin...but It wont last but 20-30 min...then It's gone. The Inferior Ingredients wont give It any staying power at all. Really just a big waste of money....that was my experence when I purchased a fake bottle of JPG Le male on ebay. At least I got my money back. Thierry Mugler's Pure Coffee layerd with TM Pure Havane for me today. They work very well together...the coffee and tobacco are just so pleasing to the senses. Mike
  19. No problem Adeodatus..I think It's a good idea to avoid running secs @ 6 & 12... they have been known to be problematic. Here's another classy watch you might like...the Flying B Is not cheep....but It is a outstanding replication. This is on my 2012 list of must haves. I just love the big date @ the 12.....sweet watch. Mike
  20. I have a pubie between the 10-11 hour markers on my Panerai 250. I didnt see the lil booger for a year or so after I purchased the watch. In my mind I see these lilttle naked Chinese folks with there junk hanging out as they make are watches......what a pleasant thought. Mike
