I would have thought It would have been a GMT model...but I think it's a 240. Not a 100% sure on that one.
I think this is a Radiomir Black Seal on his wrist.
One thing I am 100% certain of...the man has very good taste In watches.
Welcome to RWG Steve. Do you want to know "who has the best sub"? a little a joke around here.
All the Information you need is right at your finger tips...any questions....just ask.

Mike
Yes... he was given the Luminor as a gift. I believe I heard it was a gift from Panerai. This is what I heard...dont know if it's true or not.
If not...he's a rich bastard who can afford pretty much whatever watch he wants..he also likes fat chicks and cigars. I guess I cant fault him for that.
Mike
You are missing nothing...same watch from the same factory. The only difference Is price. Tony @ Asian7750 is usually $25-30 cheeper than most of the other dealers. I have done business with Asian 7750 many times over the years....always a very good experence for me. Tony Is a top notch dealer. he is also a trusted dealer at other rep forums...like RG and RWI.
Josh @ Perfect Clones Is one of the most trusted dealers around...cant go wrong with either dealer here.
Hope this helps.
Mike
Sure...why not. I still plan on picking up a Speedy one day. But as far as the really expensive watches.$5.000 and up In my world.....Never.
I'll make do with my reps....thank you very much.
Mike
Not many still around here from back then. TT KB Pug and Richard Tracy are the only members that still hang out..from what I can see. Pug and Richard pop up just once in a blue moon.
Mike
I too am sad to hear of your loss. It is good to hear that this person didnt have to suffer "as much" as so may do.
Thanks for sharing something so near and dear to your heart.
Mike

Tell your friend that I have a Omega PO I would like to unload. just kidding.
This can be a very addictive hobby...before I knew It I had around 20 reps. I had to back up a little and slow myself down a bit.
I now have about half that many.. and my wallet/collection are better off for It.
Have a talk to your friend If you feel he's approachable on the subject....good luck.
