Same kind of thing happened to me EE. I was at this department store...In the cologne section..I saw this bottle shaped like a torso....which I thought was really unique. So I got a sample and spritzed a little on my wrist. That was it...love at first smell. JPG has been one of my "go to" fragrances ever since. Mike

I picked up a sample of Creeds Tabarome about a year ago or so..It is Indeed a fantasicc tobacco fragance. But like you said Lobster..."way over priced" Thats the reason I use Davidoff's Coolwater Instead of Creeds GIT. It's two dam expensive. I've been using Davidoffs coolwater at less that half the price. I really cant tell much difference.,If any. Mik

Burberry London is probably In my top five ..the tobacco note is one of the best in the business Imho It is my favorite holiday scent...reminds me of Christmas gatherings around the Christmas tree and fireplace. I just love it. Mike

Good point subbie...the brown very well may be the better choice when paired with the gold. I wonder how blue stitching would look on a brown strap? Could be a Interesting combo. Mike

This thread is a lot of things Pete..but boring It is not. I dont think we will ever see the perfect Pam..or any other rep far as that go's. That being said....the factories are going In the right direction..they are Indeed getting better and better by the year. I guess for some the Idea of producing the perfect rep is not something they are looking foward to...If the rep is without flaws.. then there are no mods to be done....now what fun is that? This was my main concern...pitty..because I much prefer ss bracelets over leather/rubber for all seasons/weather. Can there be some kind of mod or fix that you can see that will allow the bracelets to fit better? Filing or sanding for example? Mike

I love a well done Tabacco scent...that and the smell of a quailty leather/ expresso coffee are probably my favorite scents. Most of the reviews I have seen praise TV.for it's rich Tabacco note. But not all noses are the same..what might smell one way to me could smell much differently to someone else. Thanks for the link Lobster. Mike
