Thank you Mr Spooky....or diver as It were.
But make no mistake...are hero from down under will return.....the retort I suspect will be legendary.
Im getting the fook out of here...while the getting is still good.
Mike
I think you mean "score"..congratulations.
Oh one more thing mate...I heard you like to get up early In the morning...thats what I heard...actually what I heard was... you like to get up at the crack of Don.
I've been waiting use that one...he he he.
Just having a little fun Pete. I kid..I kid because I care.
Mike
Lesson learned...you really do have to know what you are doing when It comes to working on movements...especially chrono movements,,,7750 etc.
I suggest you try to contact one of the watchmakes/mods here...tell them your problem...and wait for a reply.
Best of luck.
Mike
I went to edit my post...and I got one of those blank error pages...could very well be something on my side.
Anyway...thanks for the clairification...and enjoy your new AP
Mike
"Im not a big fan of people wearing them" odd comment to make at a replica forum.
If you have a extra $15.000 or whatever to spend on a watch...well thats just great..but most of us dont have that kind of scratch to spend on a watch...most of us anyway....and even If we did.
Please clarify...are you just not a fan of people wearing this particular rep...since you have the gen....or are you not a fan of anyone wearing any rep...reguardles of brand...just curious.
Mike
PS....nice AP btw
I guess another way to look at It is...thank god for these moders..where would we be without them?
As we all know..It's very difficult to find competent people to work on are reps outside of the rep community.
I dont see the problem.....If a moder cant work on a rep for whatever reason..then he sends It back....and of course he should never take on more work that he can handle.
I think the Zigmeister is a very good example of just this.
I would also think a watchmaker/ moder could make a reasonable desent (side) living offering such services.
I for one hope that Francisco returns when he gets things sorted...I personaly have learned a great deal from the gentlemen.
That being said...I do wish he would have dealt with this/his situation In a more professional manor...It takes just a few minutes to post a "heads up"..If you will.
Two pennies from me.
Mike
Im really excited about this rep...probably In my top three/four favorite Pams. Love the big running sec hand and the numbered bezel on this model.
The tuxedo dial is the cheery on top.
I havent a chance to do a side by side yet...but from what I see so far...well done....very well done.
Mike
