Exactly T..I have had mine close to two years now...yep been pretty lucky....but that luck is about to run out. I will probably have to get new crown/tubes /stem etc within a few months...oh well. Mike

I have go along with TeeJay...qc pics are not really a big deal for me either. That being said..I want the dealer to make sure that there is nothing wrong with it...I expect the dealer to check the timekeeping and functions of the watch..If not...I wont use that dealer again.. If It all possible. Im sorry to hear about your crappy luck so far...I've been lucky so far..I have purchased around 23-25 reps and I only had to send one back. The dealer sent back a pretty nice Pam rubber strap with deployant...no charge...so I cant really complain. The SMPO are notorious for crown.tube/stems Issues..at some point in time almost everyone has issues with these reps unfortunately....but to have these problems out of the box...not good. Try to hang In there...Im sure your luck will Improve in the furture. Mike

Im not sure but It looks like the clasp might be the main culprit here...maybe a gen tang buckle would do the trick. Being such a expensive watch as it is..I personally would be to afraid to mess with the caseback. Hopefully someone else can be more helpful...good luck. Mike

My father had a 1962 Chevy Impala convertable SS...man he loved that car. He sold It to a colleague of his who kept pestering him for It. .I was about fourteen years old at the time. I remember how sad he was the day he sold It. Unfortunately as I got older... I did not have the resorces to purchase another 62 Impala SS convert...even one In desent shape went for fairly big money...$25.000-30.000..If not more. My dad Is gone now....and I miss him more than words can say. I have to admit...this video really got to me. ..maybe some of the members here can relate to how I might feel. One of my small dealer friends who lives In BK said It was a mess. He had to relocate his family..his house was completely flooded...very sad. He said he would be up and running once he got things sorted. My heart go's out to the people of BK...I wish them well. Mike

Beautiful watch W..I really like that.... @42mm It's perfect for formal wear. But It also has a little bit of a sporting edge to It..I guess the sub dials and pushers give It that look Imo. I would be very comfortable wearing that with a T shirt and a pair of jeans...for example....very nice. Mike

The only differences Im aware of are the movement and crystal The swiss has a sapphire crystal with a AR coating The Asian has a synthetic crystal with no AR coating. There could be more...but these are the two main differences that Im aware of. Mike

The good news is..you were not scamed..the seller for whatever reason backed out. Better that than having problems down the road. That being said..the seller should have made up his mind before excepting your money. I feel that he waisted not only your time... but his own. But the seller was uncomfortable for whatever reason...maybe he did you a favor In the long run.....one way to look at It anyway. At least at the end of the day..or week In this case...you have your money....I say "happy ending" Mike

Whatever your personal feelings about the father and mother may or may not be.... has nothing to do with this story. This Is about a emotionally underdeveloped child..who was bullyed and harrased by the very people who were In charge of her personal well being. The teachers and school board have taken full responsibility since the recordings were brought to there attention. Not one of those wonderful young ladies would make a statement...thats because they got caught red handed. If you were accused of doing something this despicable..and you knew that you were Innocent..or you felt the recordings were misleading...would you not speak up? It's been over a year...and not so much as a peep from either one of those teachers...nothing. I think It's also Important to remember that this child Is not at the level of a normal fourteen year old girl...maybe six or seven. Would you have rathered Ann Curry raised her voice and maybe shook her a little for good measure? Here's a girl thats In front of one of the most watched morning programs In the country..all those cameras and lights...strange people all over the place. I think Ann Curry did a fine job with her Interview....I mean GMA/MSNBC and Ann Curry..I feel that these are very credible news sources. Were not talking about Jerry Springer and the National Enquirer here. The family was rewarded $300.000 resently...I would say that most of that will go for this young girls care In the furture...her potental as a adult will be very limited. The family and the girls doctors dont know how this will effect the girl In the long run...this bullying has been going on for about five years. So there can and most likely will be long term consequences. There was a full Investagation In reguards to this situation...no one..no where.. ever suggested that the tapes were altered In any way...I would agree with that assesment. As far as the mothers absence..dont know..could be a devorce..maybe moved away.. maybe passed away.. I dont know. But reguardless of any situation that might exsist...that would have no influence or be no excuse for these teachers appalling behavior. Mike
