Ball and Doxa watches with their ETA based movements are rated OVER 5000 G's...
I know many people who play Tennis, Racketball with Rolex's without issue.
I have done ADV Motorcycle riding and off road dirt-bike rides with Seiko, Sector, and Vostok without incident. I have also Mountain Biked with numerous 21J and ETA REPS.

I used the old MBW case, drilled for an actual HEV, drilled lugs, reshaped CG's. I like my result. I went with the InGod Rail Dial however
Gen Service Crystal and Insert, Tudor Hands.

While I'm not saying your story is a lie, I find it hard to believe since just recently DW sent me a damaged dial and he didn't hesitate to send me a new one, free of charge. He always answers his emails promptly, and provides tracking number for everything.
I have a feeling there are some details missing from your story.
DW is very inconsistent. I have had a nearly identical experience as the OP. However, I have been "in friendly contact" with DW, I am still "waiting" on parts from November 2010!!! I feel this hobby is a lot like gambling, and have not/would not file a PP dispute.
Moral of the story, we are dealing with language barriers and Quality Control issues. Especially with DW it seems.

Not for me. I said it before, but that thing looks more like something out of a Seiko design studio than Rolex. Lazy Rolex designers: "Lets just make it Maxi and throw in a Retro Hand -- Balance be damned".
Kudos's however to Josh and company for doing a good replica...

Very Cool. Looks right at home on it.

Nice.
I have not been able to figure out if my 300T "Sterile" Synchron, NON-Screwdown is original. There is mention of it in Dr. Pete's book.
-
Well I can't argue (much) with that. I have a SUB300 with the domed crystal that sports a pathetic little button crown. I've found a source for replacement tap-10 screwdown crowns and tubes, and one looks about right. Interested?
Branded or Sterile? Screwdown or non?
-
I have a feeling the crown is unusable. Looking at the blow to the case/crown area. Also, someone in Alaska already hooked me up with a bracelet . Putting the money elsewhere.

Looks like a PARNIS made to scam someone....
TWENTY BIDS as of right now...

It has been bid up to a level where I think I AM OUT...
-
Yep. Boston for me!
-
Shhhhhhhhh....... I am the high bidder on that. Saw it this morning. Was looking to snag it for parts or restoration.

Welcome.
Judging by your name you are into VW Corrado's / G-Ladders ???
Ever auto-x @ Qualcomm stadium? I ran a Scirocco there a couple of times in the 90's.

If you do see another come up for sale anywhere, let me know about it bro...

Nice Mil750
Right there with you today...

Very nice indeed.

Thanks, and yes, that price is on leather strap.

You need a 3.00x.35mm tap to chase the threads and possibly go deeper into the case -or- you will need to use a Dremel to cut back some threads. I have also found many of the aftermarkets are longer on the inside portion. Maybe find a Gen?

Great update...
I am still holding out for a "Conquistador"... (Wishful thinking, I know)
-
That looks fantastic...

I picked this up for $1180 + $350 Service = $1530 for a fully functional daily wearer.
