  1. i will have to go with kenberg. the last shot would be my favourite. beatiful watch/strap
  2. ok, let the laughter die down first.... now, I read through veni12's thread on HOW TO FIT A THICK STRAP TO THE PANERAI DEPLOYMENT It is all pretty straight forward. but I'm stuck on post #7, the tircky bit I am unable to remove the pin. Trying to push the pin out from the "P" side it won't move. But pushing it on the I side (the top side as in the picture above) the pin would move with a click, and the other end would be sticking out just a bit. But I still cannot move the pin to fit the strap in.
  3. humna humna humna as always they are great shots. my favourite would be the last shot of the both of yous. great seeing both watches btw... did i spot a ... rolex crown in there?

  10. I asked davidsenipn about the lume on his hands and dial and he mentioned that he used TRITEC NEWLITTE and not the super luminova. Is that what is on the hand or the dial?
  11. hmmm... first thing if you are serious about collecting comix ... do not open them up flat... esp dont fold the page over... that said... wanna buy a rep of amazing spider man #1?
  12. mate, just do it with your credit card. for starters you get to spend so much money before you have to verify... might have to wait for them to send you a letter first though

very beautiful.. i've got the same but a different strap
  14. looks great mate! not sure if you are uploading thumbnails or not, but I think it will greatly improve user experience when browsing the site. noticed you are using zencart, there's a module that lets you upload the image and create the thumbnails automatically. pls look into it more thumbnails to browse all the watches available the better
  15. sweet, must be fun to be able to try out the different straps... even make your own when you come across some nice leather
  16. that is an great collection!! you should post more pix of the different straps with the watches when you swap them around.
  17. Waiting for the arrival of a strap or two... and realised I dont have a screwdriver (i think thats what I need). What size screw driver would I need for my PAM 111H. Did I read somewhere that I need a 1.6mm screwdriver? I've also got a deployment clasp so is that still the same size screwdriver? And if I want to take m crown guard off whats the size of the screws there? cant think of any other screws that I would be playing with some times in the near future... and if any aussies read there... is there a good source for screwdrivers and/or tools locally? cheers
  18. very very nice... so ... how many straps does that make?
  19. thanks mate, dont have a watchsmith near me that I know of. and i cant bear the thought of being away from my watch for too long... if i send it away overseas it could take potentially a month before it comes back.
  20. whats a hand setting tool? what about this fora starter kit?
  21. how easy is it to take the dial and hands off and put them back? compare this to say.... discovering how to open a deployment clasp, working out how to fit a strap to it... to taking the case apart and the movement out.
  22. Nope didnt have to, its been preset to the local time of the manufacturer. Been running perfectly since i got it. It was hard having to subtract 3 from the hour to work out the time but since daylight savings finished its only 2 hours difference so its a bit easier. I think i'm getting used to it thanks Feek. I knew i was gonna cop some flack when I posted it... i thought it was funny but at least some other noob might come along and go aaaah so thats how you do it. I've seen the normal buckle type clasps so I was thinking you'd only flip it open that was why it never dawned on me to look for the button to push.
  23. haha had the deployment clasp for about a week and been fiddling with it for a week ... only just worked out that you press the 2 side buttong under the clasp and it releases it haha never had one before so i had no idea... I've been applying a little force trying to open it and just couldnt work it out as to how it would open.... Thought this info might be useful to someone else now.... just waiting for my straps to come in
