Just received the watch yesterday. I thought the Ebel 1911 Discovery was brilliant. The Aquatimer's fit and finish is even better. Possibly the best rep out their? Like the Ebel there isn't a mod I feel I need to perform. She's that impressive! I will have the lume fixed (not to good), other than that perfect! I see the flaws everyone has mentioned but you would have to know your IWC to notice. Work prevents me from taking pictures till Sunday. Till then, let the suspense continue!

I have one as well and the value is fantastic. My dial is a little off center and the date isn't that bold. Can: 1. A gen or rep dial be swapped? 2. If no, can the markers be moved? Is the cost worth it? 3. A date wheel be swapped? Do they sell a rep date wheel that is bolder than what came with the original?

I know the names of a couple modders on the forum but what are the odds of a list? An organized list of members who perform Mods for $. Not you amateur modder but pros such as The Zigmeister, etc....? A list of modders and mods performed? Any info on who Mods in North America would be appreciated.

Tell me if I am wrong but it would be too expensive, is it even possible to move markers on the dial? Should I swap the dial? I'm a little bummed.

I have a 42mm PO lite (Narikaa) the the dial half off center. 1. The markers at the 3 and 6 are aligned correct. 2. The 12 & 9 are off by a few mm. 3. The bezel is aligned. I just bought a 45mm UPO with more of the same. 1. The dial seems correct. 2. The bezel is off by 1 or 2mm. Does anyone make a PO (preferable 42mm orange bezel and numbers) with a properly aligned bezel and dial?

Freddy, you say that with such ease. My skill level stops at winding my watches! She probably should be sent off to get a good service. From what I've read servicing an A7750 within the first 9 months helps ensure a long lasting movt.

I think this just happened. It looks 2mm off to the right. Does this mean the movt needs servicing? Is this common with the A7750?

Say I am pursuing watch X at $2500. I have $1000. I can sell a watch or two to get close to $2500, but watch X is not on the market. Do you sell a watch or two and have the funds in hand for when the watch becomes available? OR Wear the watches, and when the watch comes on the market buy the watch, then sell watches to fund? I'd like to know the rational and logistics behind one purchase.

I have the same problem with my 1911. It fits perfect (I like my watches to wear a little loose) or way to loose. I'll accept this as her only fault, all things considered.

Yep, it's the slevin. I really want the gen ti version. I have two gen ti watches that are perfect. I have such small wrists that make the ti so brilliant to wear.
