wow the gen seems to have the horseshoe real close to the omega text, like trustys 42 mm. i didnt realize this was correct...looks too close.

u get a rubber and a nylon one with the watch...ive been wearing mine on the rubber. check out bigredjoes regatta, that strap he has on it looks pretty nice....was a lighter colored BOB vintage of some kind.

if i was going to augusta, id probabaly sport a rolly as well. doesnt seem like a panerai event lol. on another note, my local coffee shop seems to be a magnt for sweet watches...today i saw a pam 024, a planet ocean, and a nice olympic special edition omega chrono of some type....i was wielding my new Arktos :-)

i feel that every man needs: - pam 063 - pam 183 - pam 127 the bases are enough covered with these three :-) maybe add a 196 or a 192 to the list, to make sure your covered... insurance purposes

not to rain on the lovefest here.....but the only thing holding me back is the omega touching the omega horsehoe logo. thats like the first thing u look at on the watch...the logo...what kind is it..o its an omUega....at least its not also a seaNaster or a seaHamster. do i buy now with the logo thingy, or wait till 5th gen...which could take a step backwards as well.....this is the quandry.

i have one on ordder from king...white face/blue markers..HOWEVER...she described it as a "double saphire" crystal and lamonia handwind movement....i dont know WTF a double saphire is...but suspect my watch will not be as bublicous as i had wanted....but it appears the one in question is not around anymore.

wow i have both the white and black VC overseas....and i am amazed at how close the genuine photo is to my rep. personally i cannot tell the difference...both the bracelet that is pictured and the dial....unless i am missing something.....i didnt think it would be so tight. the cross looks alot different though
