  1. I think all the various snowflake models has the ridge around the threading just like you say. But for the earlier Tudor rose sub (7928) this case back (that used to be yours ) is correct.
  2. 9 months is a long wait.. But so totally worth it.. And hey it could be worse.. Does WM9 SD ring a bell? Thank you mate, likewise!
  3. Yes, jmb's case back engraving is a must IMHO.. Here's one he did for me: That man is a true magician..
  4. Many thanks mate! You are absolutely right buddy! Maybe a Rollie mini-sub?
  5. Sounds great! Count me in! Thank you R! Great to have you back posting again BTW! Thanks buddy! 1:1 turned out to be more than just a marketing thingy this time.. Thanks B! We are enjoying ourselves to the fullest and verything is OK with wifey again after a somewhat complicated delivery.. Hope all is well with you and your family as well! Thanks my friend! He's a hungry little bugger so no health worries here! Thanks mate! This one came from the local TS (Trusted Stork). Very reliable, good quality products, only downside is the slow delivery.. Thanks man! He is nice, quiet and happy as long as he's full.. When hungry he turns into Mad Max.. Thanks for the kind words B! And thanks once again for helping us out finding his deluxe ride in the US..
  6. Thanks and congrats to you too buddy!
  7. Thanks red! Thanks mate! I have a strong feeling you may be right about that..
  8. Thanks mate! Nah, no refund offered this time.. Thanks I! Yes, no need to go hunting for gen parts for this one.. Ahahahaha! Nothing a little cautious Gilette treatment can't fix.. Thanks my friend! Huge thanks again buddy! Name the time and place and I'll be there to take you up on that offer..
  9. Yeah, he's VERY close to the 39 year old gen! Thanks mate! Tackar! Nope, the 2nd so he's got a very proud 5 year old big sis.. Thanks mate! Thanks mate! This is the V2.. Thanks mate! Yup, this is as close to 1:1 as it gets! Thanks mate! You should get one if possible - it's bloody awesome! Thanks mate! The lume is excellent.. He glows like a torch - even in broad daylight! And the engine is running smooth! Thanks mate! If he really is as 1:1 as he looks, his first wristy will be posted any day now..
  10. Just wanted to share my latest addition to the family.. Let me introduce Max - the top notch clone! /modelizer.
  11. Good to know! A little over a year ago when I was 25-128 hunting there was no alternative to the gen article.. Please keep us updated! However, the last pic from supplier #2 is not a 128, right? It looks thicker and seem to have a standard sub magnifier.
  12. Whoa! Very enjoyable! Nice find and thanks for sharing!
  13. Go for it bro! It's a real beaut!
  14. Who?
  15. +1 IMHO your decision should be based on personal preference - not on which one is the better rep. Both factory versions of both the 111 and 005 are great replications - although all of them has their own share of minor flaws (but only a PAM WIS will be able to tell anyway). I suggest you try out a N-factory one and if you are still concerned about the flaws then buy a H-factory version of the same watch to mix and match parts and then sell off the remains.. Just my 0.002 of course!
  16. @ZK: FET!
  17. Looks great! Me likey!
  18. No problem mate!
  19. Yup, Yuki has them. Was editing my previous post with a link at the same time you reliped..
  20. I remember a while back - when souring parts for my 7032 build - that the 24-7000 tubes were very rare and priced accordingly. But if i am not mistaken there are aftermarket tubes available nowadays? Edit: Yuki has aftermarket tubes for it here.
  21. Only a fool would not wear that beauty a long time my friend.. For me it's 005 day today - while working a nice patina on the croc nubuck:
  22. Looks pretty chilled to me!
  23. A 26mm dial fits like a glove in my new MBW 5513 case.. In other words: it's a great franken base!
