The bezel is the best but the CG's look a little tight to the crown and short but a very sweet build! Enjoy!!

No longer have the gen unfortunately. The rep will be gone today too. I generally do these for friends and this has gone to my best mate!

I do not a have a dial or movement yet. I have a gen insert and crystal in the post but can't decide whether to source a gen movement or use a clone 3135 from puretime and get it serviced.

From owning a gen it is pretty close to the colour.

@Tribal The rehaut and glass were clamped together and then bonded round the edge with a superglue high strength glue which is waterproof. The complete assembly was then bonded to the case so it would be waterproof I guess . The hev looks like titanium but may be steel I guess. It looks ok in the flesh but maybe a little too recessed. I'm not hung up on it being a 100% perfect rep, I buy gens for that! But it has the look and feel to pass in many circles.

Here are a couple of pics of my SD16600. This is probably as good as I can get it barring shaving down a gen insert to fit ! It has improved crown guards, a polished rehaut, a gen 25-285 crystal and better rep crown. The bracelet is from a Sub but the SEL's are better than the crap one that comes with it. I know it is still not correct but it will do for now. I had to bond the gen crystal to the removable rehaut and then bond both into the case and it holds out water in the bath and shower! which is fine for me as it is a REP! Enjoy the pics.

Will take a pic ASAP. The amount removed is only small and would not make any noticeable difference to dial fitting!

I have removed the engraving today from my tc sub case. They are not deep and no harder than removing from any other case. Used 220grit and then 180grit and a bit of polish. Will take a pic when possible

I have one very much like that and it is ok

I usually use my crystal press and fit the bezel first along with click spring etc and them fit the insert once alignment is correct. Gen inserts are tougher than you think.

Looks good but bezel insert looks to be sticking up slightly and not seated into the bezel at the 7 o'clock postion.

They are very hard to fit on a gen bezel too. My tc case and bracelet arrived today but my insert will be a few days yet! The clasp is superb and the best rep clasp I have seen and it works smoothly and precisely as a gen does. The bracelet is lighter than a gen band but well finished with no sharp edges to sand down. End links are the best yet but still slightly too long inside the lugs. Case is excellent too and the best yet with a superb CG! Crown is pretty good too. The engraving on the rehaut is wrong style but not as obvious in real vision! And will not bother me once built. Very impressive for the money and as close as you will get so far.

I hope your insert is wrong as this would be a shame. If it was an sd insert the crystal will not fit through it!

A gen sd16600 crystal is 25-285 as I'm looking at one on front of me and is the same size as the new sd rep but the ssd was not correct and had a bigger diameter crystal. I'm just waiting for some suitable gaskets to arrive from Cousins and then I will fit it on my sd 1:1....not! Model

Yeah I'm uk based. I have a case set and bracelet and dw overlay for another project.

My tracking went live today so maybe he has been struggling to get things shipped out. I'm sure he has a life other than this board and it's sometimes demanding members!

The engraving is not correct compared to gen but better than previous efforts. Needs to be rubbed down slightly as it looks too deep and pronounced in the pics and if it is the v3 case with better CG then I have already seen it in the flesh.

No idea to be honest, probably glue or maybe pressure fitted.

Removal of the engravings is possible mod
