A few weeks ago I bought a very sweet V3 WM9 LV that Bk had built a while ago with the intention of swapping everything into a TC case and his new V3 bracelet combo. Well today the TC bits arrived and when I got home from work I got cracking on the swap. I went for a rehaut engraved model as last time but have decided for now to leave them but I have softened the engraving slightly so it does not quite jump at you as on some you see. The first thing I noticed about the TC case was the tighter fitting of the bezel ring and gasket which should help waterproofing, it was not as tight on my early case TC supplied me when they first arrived on scene. BK's custom crown is pretty much as good as a gen crown so I have left that as it is slightly(noticable) thinner than TC's version. The V3 Wm9 watches had the same movement fitting so that was easy to do and the gubbins were swapped inside a minute! Only reason for changing the case was the deep cut Cg issue that these were plagued with! I have a gen LV insert on route to me from a good friend and forum member and hopefully will arrive before the weekend! This insert is a WM9(very good colour actually!) fitted with a slightly off colour gen pearl. It also has a clarks crystal until I have a gen crystal in my posession. I have also used the bezel from the WM9 watch as it has much better teeth than Tc's and only slightly less so than a gen bezel and in the flesh is perfectly acceptable for me! The real surprise for me is the bracelet. I have never seen a rep bracelet finished to this standard ever! The sel is pretty much perfect, even gen end links vary slightly over the years! The finish of the edges are smooth and very gen like. The links themselves are very tight just like a gen 93250 and the clasp feels and works beautifully. The clasp pin is not dimpled but is finished well and polished and not really a problem for me to be honest! Engraving is sweet too. The fit to the case is exceptional and mine needed no trimming and only a firm push into position to secure the pins. I see no need to buy a gen bracelet for this anymore! This watch is finished for now but I do have a gen dial, hands and DW waiting for a gen movement or a V2 asia 3135 later in the year hopefullyif thye pass the test!!! Can only get these lv hands not the standard sub hands and yes the minute is fatter on the lv.

That is what they are for. They are classic 16610 lv hands not the ceramic model.

Just bought a set of genuine unused Rolex lv hands. This may be in the wrong place to post for which I apologise to the mods but the guy has another set available which would be perfect when the improved 3135 comes out! Pm me if interested and I will give the price. Feel free to move this post if required.

Gen bezel set is worth the extra pennies!

I read that and it sounds interesting. Hopefully some real life pics will appear of the clarks bezel soon. The bezel really let's the tc model down. My pic has a gen bezel assembly. The wm9 v3 I have does have a good bezel with nice teeth so I may swap it over to the new case. The deep recess on the crown bothers me on my v3 otherwise I would just add new bracelet. Looking forward to your new pics with insert Woof!

That could be interesing! Seems rare to fit without trimming. My gen insert went in but would not rotate! I have just paid TC for a case set and V3 bracelet as I have a WM9 V3 LV here waiting to swap over into a better case and this new tight fitting bracelet. He warned me about the problem before posting on his blog but it does not bother me too much if just the lower part needs a little trimming as long as it sits flush and tight on the topside! Here is a pic of my TC with V2 sel. Yours look much better. Shorter and way better fit to the lugs bearing in mind that photos always highlight more than the naked eye

The sel does sit further into the lugs which the V2 did not do and does look much tighter. We need confirmation from the man himself as to which he shipped to you guys to be sure

It was me. I have to say I have forgotten quite how it was fitted but yes the rehaut is separate and the crystal is pressure fitted with a small gasket. You should be able to find it in the Rolex section. I ended up bonding the rehaut to the genuine crystal and then bonding the whole thing into the case. Looked good but not sure if it was any good in water!
