  1. That should be easy to do fairly well. Don't like the raised sel fit though but this will affect dssd sales as it's much more classic. The red/blue gmt is perfect!!!
  2. Just fitted a gen crystal in this today!
  3. Actually looking at my pic I can see the reason why sel will not be perfect. The lug profile is very different to the gen lug profile. Not really noticed before
  4. This still has a chunky centre peice Thomas. V3 was better on this respect. Did they not use original drawings? This difference still shouts rep regardless of tight lug fit. Look at the difference to the smooth gen next to it. Stops me buying a tc watch again :-(
  5. The v5 does not look to address the sel that was nearly so good on the v3. The centre section still looks chunky and too long so it doesnt nestle inside the lugs well enough although this maybe a case issue and where the lug holes are located.
  6. Last tc I built needed the dw overlay spacing away from the movement so it did not foul the mechanism. I used dial dots which created a perfect gap between overlay, movement and dial. It was the tc2824 by the way but I think the same issue exists in gen eta too
  7. There are gen sub 16610's with ar. I've seen m, g and random serial ln and lv subs with ar cyclops.
  8. Doubt it. I'm pretty sure that model is now no longer produced.
  9. That watch is the original noob subc that was available before the latest v1/v2 and does not have gen style construction etc but still a nice watch. :-)
  10. It's not the one Angus was talking about. This is his best edition with miyota movement and recessed bezel screws. It is not bp either. Thickness I think is the same as the 2824 version!!
  11. I built mine using a noob lmpo as it has a great case and perfect ar. Also the crown and tube is perfect and he valve too. The bracelet was good too bit I fitted gen sels and clasp. I will find some pics as I regretfully sold it earlier. I fitted gen parts Dial Hands Dw Complete bezel assembly Sels Clasp And it looked superb.
  12. There are only gen bracelets for the mk16.
  13. I was going on past experience when I made that comment. A shame it doesn't fit though. Ah well, we live and learn!!
  14. I was confirming that this version has differently drilled case lug holes compared to the v1 which is why the maker had to remake cases before releasing this v2 with bracelet. Somewhere on the posts you mentioned gen case fitment to which I have no idea but think it would fit as I have fitted 3717 rep bracelets to gen in the past. I don't own a gen iwc anymore. Sorry for any confusion buddy.
  15. I think the gen xv had 19mm lugs but the now obsolete rep mkxv had 20mm lugs and he managed to reshape them to fit the xvi.
  16. Here are a couple of pics of my wm9 v2 with a gen bracelet fitted. After all the tc case is the newer version of a wm9. Hopefully you can see what I mean.
  17. The bracelet sels give away a tc every time. Even the v3 was not quite right. Maybe the lug pin holes dictate this but the perfect sel should be more contoured and sit shorter inside the lug.
  18. Mine should arrive tomorrow after waiting a month for delivery!!!!
  19. That happened with me. Originally sent with FedEx but now re shipped with Dhl from Malaysia!!
  20. I have no way of knowing if it will fit a gen as I don't have one but previous other rep iwc's I have had did fit so I see no reason this won't.
  21. You are wrong! The rep bracelet did not fit the previous rep case so the factory remade the case as the pin holes were in the wrong place. I would imagine this bracelet will fit the gen case. I have still not received my watch. Very slow service from puretime this time around!!
