It puzzles me why noob got the height correct on the latest v3 gmtc but wrong on the subc. A shame they don't use a 2824 then it would have worked. I've not bought the latest 3135 model and like you say the rehaut is not always aligned on this model. I've decided not to bother trying to build a Franken subc as the financial does not outway the aesthetics when finished. Gens will be cheaper soon I think as the subc does not sell nearly as well as its predecessor!!!

Not all j12's bud as I'm looking at mine now and it's the same as the pic. Can't wait to see the finished result though. I was tempted to do the same project but using the latest sa3135 case that was released a few weeks ago. It has correct crown height and pretty decent cg's too.

I bought one of the original sets but this is a risky one without retaining ring and zytel washer. You can sell the dial for good money if not needed but you would have to remove the insert to fit into a rep bezel really and gen insert is much thinner than rep inserts.

Also the last bracelet link before the case is squared with a pin and should be curved with a screw. A very obvious tell like the white seconds hand.

Are you sure.....because the crown position is not the correct higher position the latest noob gmt 1:1 has nor does the bracelet or bezel look right.

This is based on the old case set hence cheap price. stick with the lateet green one for best spec.

This one has blue cromalight as does the latest green hand gmt2

Bp gasket is thicker than gen specs. Noob and j12 need 2.35 height gasket not 2.7 they come with.

Interesting, I've had L serials subs bit not with open fonts. Must 've a crossover or a 16610 case was added.

No, 16800 with 3035 had open 6 & 9 and closed 26

The gen case may be different but I used a 2.5 gasket on my gmt2 noob with car1 crystal and a 2.3 gasket on my noob v2 subc with car1 crystal. Both ar of course.

2.7mm is the standard 16610 but not on ceramic.

If they had machined the case for a 2824 it would have been better. I can always tell a rep because of this. I've owned 4 gen subc's. They have done it on the latest gmt master so hopefully they can sort it on the v4!! Here is a pic from my thread comparing one of my gen subc's with noob v1. sadly the watch will always shout fake because crown position is too low plus Sels give it away every time but as long as you are happy with all that money spent then that's all that matters. wear in good health! Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
