This does not make sense to me having assembled these before. The fitting is just the same for a gmt, deep sea and subc. They press fit with the gasket to the retaining ring. Only reason to remove the insert is alignment issues. Even Rolex supply the bezel assembled to a dealer to fit so they don't need to remove the insert either. We need your guy to elaborate whY buddy. There is no need to remove the insert and any attempt is foolish guys. This bezel is so easy to fit. You simlpy press fit the retainer over the crystal and plastic gasket, fit the springs in the 4 holes and then fit the thin white gasket into the groove on the bezel and press fit to the case. Job done. There is simply no need to remove the insert as it should be pre-aligned already. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

Call me fussy but the sel is bad on that for me buddy. I'm starting to wonder whether or not to bother getting one to fit this gen bezel set onto. The SEL gap would drive me mad to be honest.

Is your bezel fixed onto the retainer bud. Mine was separate with the white gasket loose in the packet. If yes you will have to split the bezel from the retainer ring but you don't have to remove the insert. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

The plastic ring holds the bezel to the crystal retainer and has nothing to do with insert fitting in the bezel. If you try and remove the insert from the bezel it will snap or you will break it trying to refit. The Lume is now whitening a bit. I'm wondering if the container had something to do with it. The seller has given me an acceptable refund on the dial and said keep the dial. A result really as I'd have paid what we did just for an insert and bezel! Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

Mine arrived today. Bezel is amazing and much superior in every way to a rep bezel and insert but sadly my dial is disappointing! The lume is an off white creamy colour. It charges well but in bright light it is not crisp and white.

Great relief, will sleep better tonight. I don't care less which dial it is to be honest. Thanks for making things more confortable for those still awaiting delivery

Yep, If this turns out well he will wish he had charged more! The dial will go for that alone and I only want the insert and bezel assembly to be honest.
