  1. Where can I get one of these as the DW in the standard eta position would be perfect for the EXP42mm which has a well documented oversized dateoverlay which is not needed as the window is farther right as per this CHS movement!!!!
  2. Carry on for me. This a thread to keep an eye on for most of us I think. The ptsa3135 and yuki are very different. The yuki seems to be a much closer copy on all areas than the first sa3135.
  3. Popped a black insert in for a change
  4. Agreed and I think this will be a viable option but it just needs a little more refinement as the early asia7750 did all that time ago. My question now is, is there more than one factory making these clones?
  5. I would not personally bother overhauling a cheap Asian movement like this. For me it was a short term fitment anyway. Yukiwatch did say this was and inherent problem with these movements. The gen part does fit ok but was not the problem. It was worth a try but now I have looked closer into the movement the finish of the some of the parts are not great, a found a cog with 4 teeth missing on the date corrector mechanism and a screw head broken off on part of the keyless works parts! I will leave it to someone else to waste a lot of money on servicing on of these and I will just wait for my gen3135 to be ready.
  6. The genuine Rolex part arrived today but did not fix the problem! Now the keyless works are screwed up!! This movement still needs refinement I'm afraid. Shame really.
  7. I will keep you posted as to whether it cures the problem or not. I will fit the new jumper tomorrow evening.
  8. It is a genuine part an still packaged. The patent part was not in stock but a lot less money!
  9. Not sure about that at £40 a time! It is a Rolex part though. I just hope it fixes the problem because the rest of the movement is pretty good really.
  10. Yukiwatch has emailed confirming a problem with the material used for the date jumper spring. She said they are having problems finding strong enough material like Rolex use for this part. Hopefully the gen part I ordered from cousins will cure the problem in mine.
  11. Just a small update regarding my movement jumping 2 dates at midnight. I have discovered that the date jumper spring is almost non existent and it broke when I tried to tension it. What I have seen is that the movement appears to be accurate to the gen on the dial side of the movement and a genuine date jumper from cousins should fit and I have ordered one. There is also signs of oil in the movement so that is good! Will update later.
  12. No that is not what I mean buddy. The date advances 2 days under normal operating when the time reaches 12 and it changes over automatically. When I change the date via the crown only after 6am and before 3pm it changes one day only. It is as if the spring tension that changes the date automatically is too strong an flicks it 2 days rather than just the next date.
  13. Fits gen dial, hands, date wheel not sure about stem until Wednesday when I will have one to try but looks close on pics. I cannot stop looking down at the dial at those beautiful gen hands and dial smiling at me!!!:-)
  14. Sorry, yes they are gen hands I will look at the spring on the date thingy! Thx
  15. I have used some eta screws until my rollie screws arrive from cousins Wednesday. The heads are a bit small so only just securing under the lip for now. The movement fits fine and theorem aligns perfectly central in the tube hole! I have however discovered a problem with the movement, when changing the date manually it is fine but at 12 it changes over in 2 day jumps instead of the next day! Any ideas???
  16. Today after record delivery time(sat posted and delivered today to UK!!) I received my 3135 clone from Yukiwatch. It was well packaged in plenty of bubble wrap. This is how it arrived after opening. Here is shot without rep DW and then a pic with it fitted and working perfeclty! Then came the fitting of the dial which was no problem and has little screws to secure the dial feet in place. Next the hands. All go on without any issue whatsoever!!. One thing to note and this may be the case on a genuine 3135 but the canon pinions are stepped so that the hands sit perfeclty in the right place! impressed with that I must say! I never had an early version of this movement and have not got a genuine 3135 stem but there is no thin section on this stem to break! Here are a couple of pics in the case. I will let you draw your own conclusions as to whether this is an updated version but it seems to be working well and does not appear to have the issues of the ealry movement. The dial and hands brings this watch alive though!! Here is a side by side pic of my WM9 V3 set up.
  17. That is correct, no screws are supplied. First impressions are quite good. It is finished pretty well with a pair of cheap hands fitted. Date changes smoothly and the stem feels secure and works crisply in the date position and when setting the time. The hands do not jump when the crown is pushed back in. Crown rotates clockwise when advancing the time and date. When I get home I will snap some pics and try fitting my gen lv dial and hands and date wheel!!
  18. Wow Movement sent on Saturday and delivered in today, has to be a record. I will give a review later today.
  19. I have gen hands and dial going onto this for the moment until my gen 3135 is ready to install otherwise I wouldn't probably bother swapping out the eta.
  20. He seems to have become very slow these days! Not dealt with angus for a while. I paid for my order 9 days ago and still no further info other than payment confirmation 5 days ago! Patience is needed with the dealers now more than before!
  21. Very sweet and a gen 3135 inside will last for ever! Enjoy !
