Had 5 of these over the years and this is a gen without doubt. Bidding should stay fairly low as they fetch more on a bracelet which costs a lot of money purchased seperatley.

If you order from bk delivery is guaranteed within Europe through uk.

There is not a 2892 version as it will use the 2824 which uses a slightly higher crown position and will then match the gen.
The latest V2's have a much improved bezel too over the first generation V2's. They are the correct width(original was slightly smaller with less defined edges) but now has a much crisper profile and a deeper well to fit the insert so you get the correct lip around the edge as per genuine watches. Also the insert has a flatter profile inline more with a gen watch.
The only flaw is the end link and as Bytor say's, the V1.5 and precioustime watch had a much better end link and fitted more snug into the lugs. I beleive George is working on this flaw.
The LV will be very impressive I'm sure and worth the wait.

Here's my 2007 example.

Interesting how different the rehaut etc is built now the gen is stripped. Is this a new update even though the date is not relevant??

Nicely done, my frist series V2 was like this but I have seen recent V2's and this is no longer an issue. I wonder if George had some greenish lume to use up?!
-
I would say left is a gen watch but a few years old. Not sure on the right watch but the crown looks too big and has end link gaps but the lustre is that of a gen so not 100% sure on that one.

Great photos!

Happy birthday Randy!!! I wish I was still 32!! Still had hair then....... Enjoy your day

I too have same problem and posting this from iPhone! I'm not prepared to change my system either for the sake of one site!
This needs to be sorted as I'm sure a lot of people have ie8. It is not much fun on a small screen!
I have just used comparability view and it has improved but still slow and not doing much for the viewing experience. It's like being on dial up all over again!
-
I had a gen 168 a few years ago and always regretted selling it. They used a 7753 in the real one but the DW looks awful in the pics but the dial colour looks fairly close. Here is a pic I found showing the gen with the rep of the time. I will try and find some better pics I have somewhere.

I have my watches listed separately on my contents insurance which is an all risks policy which covers while being worn. I pay around

Welcome to you from over the hill in huddersfield!
Hi there, yep still raining over here, I spent a few weeks in Toronto myself staying with family in Mississauga (think I spelt it right). Are you the Red side or the blue side of Manchester. -
Just an update on this one.
I never received the watch and have still not received anything from Customs. I guess I never will!

'M' serial Gen Yachtmaster models do have rehaut engraving. Not sure if early 'M's did but one I saw last week did for sure and it spoils it!
-
I have just sold my gen 3719 but only the subdial at 9 is lumed The Zigmeister. The stop watch dials are not lumed at all.
-
Yes they would is the answer but can't tell you why

Thanks my friend, I was only too happy to help a very important member of this community. Your pictures make it look even better than it did in the flesh!!!
ENJOY IT!!

Going with my new acquisition this weekend.

Did you ever post pics of your yachtie? If not, pics of the WM9 are always welcome. Ubi's pictures were good, but it's nice to see these in different light, etc. Over at the gen rolex forums, those guys continually post pictures of genuine watches that all look the same, so it won't be overkill here!
I cannot as yet post pics as my camera got damaged coming back from holiday at the New Year and getting another is not yet a priority but will do eventually.
-
The movement inside my yachtie is indeed the seagull and for the last 3 weeks since arrival has kept excellent time. No real complaints about it being used in these watches.

I too was suprised nt the lume when I bought my gen slevin a month ago. It is nice and bright on the main hands but the bezel must be 50% less. Also the ar is not as strong as some but that said the whole watch is beautifully built and finished and in another league to rolex and many others costing much more!
Right. Interesting they did that as the hands are still tipped with paint, but it isn't Luminova paint. It was a surprise to me when I first saw it on my gen. I thought something was wrong when only the seconds subdial was done. Also, on the Ti model like I have, the minute hand is yellow like the 15 minute countdown ring. Because the yellow lum is much weaker, the hour hand is WAY brighter than the minute hand - not that even that lume on these is particularly bright as I mentioned, but visually the steel version looks way different in low light than the Ti version...
-
Certainly would look different.
The lume is green on the gen. I will add that the 12 and 6 subdial hands are not lumed on the gen. Only the seconds at 9 is lumed. A few have made that mistake already I've noticed.

Can I ask the guys who have the best version, does it have the larger crown as per gen?
I have tried on the real one today and it was very noticably bigger but I have not seen it mentioned.
I was also very suprised by how much reflection the crystal showed. Other than that the rep looks very good.
WM9 has updated his site with pics!
