  1. Add me to the list. and COngrats to Offshore!
  2. I love the SO Heritage, but fear its just too large for my 6.7" wrists. If they only repped the 38 mm, i might grab it. For watches in general, I think sizing is a question of aesthetics, and aside from the actual case size and lug width, size of the wearer's hands and size and shape of the forearms can make all the difference. While I respect individual taste (or lack thereof), there are certainly a lot of guys out there (and on here)wearing too much watch (IMO), particularly with the younger guys. Cheers, -P-
  3. Absolutely Gorgeous Ubi. Im hoping Concepta comes across more gen dial and handsets in future.
  4. Thats a question I can't answer, as I don't know if the Gen's screw are rhodium plated, or a white gold (yell gold w/ nickel or palladium alloy). Paul, can you confirm what these screws will be be?
  5. Hi Elenuccia, This project that Paul is overseeing is to replace the MBK (superior case finishing) Royal Oak's Caseback and bezel screws. If you want to see the MBK dial, check the second post he made on this thread. Caseback will be changed out to solid, and screws will be replaced with rhodium plated yellow gold to match gen. If the AP logo on this project is too small for your tastes, I expect his next one, which will focus solely on the dial, will address it. Put the products of both projects together and you end up with the most accurate AP RO outside of gen out there. I'm sure Paul will correct me if I have misspoken in any capacity. Hope that helps. -P-
  6. The MBK is not the same replica that you would get from Andrew obviously. That being said, I don't know if they share the same stocdk AP logos. Paul did mention that the next project after this one is a 1:1 dial (or closer at least). Perhaps that will address it.

  8. Bumping this as I don't want it to lose momentum and would like to see the watch this year. Who else still is pending payment?
  9. Paul, thanks for being on top of this and responding to my suggestion. I received your PM and am in and in agreement with the suggested deposit. Kind Regards.
  10. Rolex, I doubt you will have any issue with a deposit from many of us, but it would be good to see pictures of a representative sample of what we would be buying. That is, a MBW/K Jumbo with the proposed modifications performed on it already. Would your technician be willing to do one up beforehand to allow the group's viewing of it? I think it is a reasonable request, given the number of folks interested. Kind Regards, Panoris
  11. Ticket Purchased. Best of luck to all.
  12. It takes away one of the things that make most IWCs great. Understated classiness and simplicity. That being said, most men that wear blinged out watches likely aren't interested in wearing the IWC brand out anyways, as they don't scream 'Look at me!!!' As said, 'ice' is for ladies watches.
  13. The V3 AR is pretty solid and gives off a nice blue tint. That being said, it is still not better than Chieftang's AR, which is the best I have seen, Gen or Rep.
  14. Understated is the way to go. They shouldn't even notice your watch. Personally, if you are wearing a suit, I think you should wear a watch with a simple face and a leather strap as well. Classy and professional.
  15. COncepta, whats the cost for the movement and the service it takes to get it to fit? Saving my pennies.
  16. For the same reason his prices are the way the way they are? He obviously photoshopped it, or just used extra exposure time.
  17. You can thank its popularity to the fact that its worn by the main character on USA Network's 'Burn Notice'.
  18. I actually felt that even on the v3, the ETA day and datewheels still line up better than what is in the Rep. My 3717 should be heading off to Zig in late September for the wheel swap, lume, some dialwork, and then off for some AR. Figured I'd hold off on service and just let the A7750 die in time, then will swap an ETA or gen mvmt from Herr Concepta. Cheers.
  19. No starch, ever. I like my shirts far too much.
  20. Brilliant watch. Definitely one of my favorites nowaday. The Rhodium dial really sets it apart.
