  2. audio system is pretty nice though
  3. jeeeez the corum collection was ugly! and a freakin tarus? that's kind of lame.... i know its a sleeper and all....but you can do that with an E63... just take the badges off
  4. cool! the reason i asked was because chronology just put up a radiomir vintage with a cortebert 620. so it got me thinking whether it's possible for other movements (although they look almost the same to me!) would be do-able....for a similar project. here's chronology's pic (hope he doesn't mind)
  5. Hey guys, i've been search for a while on the different types of cortebert movements....and found some interesting info. I haven't yet found a clear answer to which cortebert movements can be easily interchanged with a 6497 or 6498 movement. I've always wanted to have a Pam homage watch with an old movement, but without the vintage dial etc. will a 665 or a 532 fit? i know the 618 is a good fit, but it's also impossible to find. which other corte movements can fit, say a 45mm Radiomir case and which ones can fit a 47mm radiomir case? i really hope some experts in the field can help out..
  6. just make sure, order GEN crown and tube for the UPO from Ofrei, its around 50$.... trust me, its worth it!! then get a modder to install the new parts....and you have a nice watch. the rep crown/tube are notorious for the thread to break.

  11. I dont know about this... some cars look awesome in the matte finish.... what do you guys think? It's called Gemballa Mirage GT Matt Edition specs: This Mirage GT has 650bhp and is capable of 0-100kph (62mph) in 3.7 seconds, 0.2 seconds faster than the standard car. 0-200 kph is also dealt with in 0.2 seconds less, 9.7 seconds in total. It tops out at 335 kph (208mph). wayyy more pics here

  15. i like the sound of Vintage PAM/Rollie MYYYY vote would go for one of those old vintage pam rolex with a nice movement... like this (i borrowed the pic from dsn) with custom strap and whole set up would be really nice
  16. actually im not completely sure, if it's really pvd coating. especially on the movt. check out this project by Hike http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...27&hl=getat i emailed getat about the pvd movement and the response was: Hello, That is really PVD GUN colour. Not PVD black colour. The gun colour is like a metallic black. It is more glossy and not matte finished. And it is produced by movement factory directly. Not we paint it. Regards, Getat Watch CO. you have to take into account the amount of time too... finding all the right parts (and for a reasonable price) can take a while..BUT it is the best way to go. or you can have satisfaction in weeks, if you order a dsn goodluck!
  17. i desperately wanted a panerai.... started looking for fake ones, then found rwi, heard about rwg from it and then rg. lol my first rep ended up being a breitling soh! now on the prowl for a 127 or 183
  18. i emailed them regarding the PVD movements....asking if it's really PVD or just paint. this is what i got back: Hello, That is really PVD GUN colour. Not PVD black colour. The gun colour is like a metallic black. It is more glossy and not matte finished. And it is produced by movement factory directly. Not we paint it. Regards, Getat Watch CO. im not sure what that exactly means, so i guess it IS color and not really PVD?
  19. they have it that's why i recommended it lol! i'm waiting to hear back from them.... to see if it's realllllly a pvd'ed movt. (i doubt it)
  20. you should make a PVD all blackout fiddy homage... with the pvd color movt. ( do you know if it's really pvd or just pvd color for the movt.) then sell it to me
  21. niceeeeee pvdness... how'd you get it so matte?
  22. WOW!!!!! that's amazing for under 100$ the pvd case actually looks awesome, not that shiny crapp.. is the strap from getat too hike? or one that you already had? im realllllllly tempted to get all the parts for a fiddy homage pvd from getstat.... and all under 120$!! thanks for the pics

  24. WOW check it out... "Swiss Watch maker Zenith introduced several very nice watches in their DEFY XTREME 2009 collection. The Defy Xtreme Tourbillon ZERO-G is a mean looking master piece that actually defies gravity. ZENITH has devised a Zero-G (zero gravity) system. The gyroscope cage Tourbillon comprises an escapement mounted on cardan joints rather like marine chronometers. The instrument, which is sensitive to changes of position, is kept in a constant horizontal position, thereby ensuring optimal amplitude for the spiral balance-wheel." oh....yeah, its gonna cost $500,000
  25. pow chika pow wowwww..... what kinda pam is on wifffey
