if you want a great laptop, I'd recommend Dell Precision M series... had my M6300 for about 7 years and it's still super fast... the newer ones can get up to 32GB ram and have amazing specs. Mine's great for photoshop and still even really good for high end 3D engineering apps (Catia, SolidWorks) If you don't/arent used to a Mac, I couldn't recommend it... I tried and it just felt funny to me (ok macaddicts... go ahead and flame away LOL)

Yes, sorry, it was me being a kunt LOL Now... wasn't that much easier? And now you seem so much nicer and helpful even!!

I bought this Eunos 800 (but 1995 model) imported from Japan to New Zealand in 1997 and even brought it with me when I moved to Australia. Finally sold her in 2008 with over 300 kilometres on it... Best car I ever owned... Fit & finish quality was excellent, super low maintenance, and an amazingly smooth ride in all conditions!

Nice start, but here's a few shots of the differences I pick up: Gen has seven large visible jewels on the plates, rep also has seven but four are minuscule comparatively: Gen balance wheel has adjustments on the balance screws that can be turned from the top, rep needs a screw driver to adjust from the side. Gen spring retainer is a simple screw type clamp, rep has a strange concoction of a device clearly dissimilar: Gen screws are flat on top, rep screws are slightly domed: I'm not sure why they did not go all the way making it the same if they went this far already. The 72 hour power reserve is truly exciting if it is truly the case...

Has anyone pre-ordered or purchased a PAM389 yet? I can't see any reviews yet, but this would be awesome if it came out good:

Does anyone know a way to polish/lap ceramic? I have an AP Carbon diver, and the top surface is just a bit uneven in the polishing... I'd like to correct this and make the surface totally flat and the grain nice and even like we're used to with their stainless steel brothers. I'm thinking a flat diamond impregnated stone or something along that line, but maybe someone has a better or direct method without needing to go through a trial and error... these are impossible to get as a stand alone item!

Mine's ready to ship (again)... anyone care to comment? For me, all the inner bezel indices seem off. which means the detente is not lined up properly and I would need to rotate it past a detente to lock it down. Does anyone else have this issue? Also, there isn't so much contrast in the carbon flakes of the case... Also, the case back counterbores look like crap and the center logo/back engraving not so great. Am I being too picky? I sent my last one back because the bezel yellow paint was misaligned and the movement sounded like rocks. It also had the problem of the inner bezel detente misalignment as well as the low contrast carbon flakes.

Great review and beautiful watch! I've been eyeing this one ) I have the 237, but this dial is a bit less busy and nicer IMO. How does everyone feel about the current runs of reps with superlume? For me, I think they're all just a bit too green, where the gen has a mix of C1 & C3, it seems, and is shown on the dealer websites that they are C3 only.

Thanks SSTEEL, this is to replace the movement in my 243, so yes, sex @ 9!

Does anyone know a source to purchase A7750 movements? Mine's got problems and watchmakers can't get parts In Bangkok or SE Asia would be great!
