  1. I'm still waiting, but 2 out of my 3 are PVD and Tommy said that would take longer.
  2. Killer watch with a killer strap!! Wear them well!
  3. I pdon't believe that I had that problem, but I may not have looked close enough... Ask finepics, he has that watch now.
  4. Amazing how one earthquake can bring down a whole region... The internet is way too fragile.
  5. That's funny... but maybe they feel that way about us over at TRC
  6. Nope... ti is ti... ss is ss rep: gen: Singapore... where you can find the best deals on Panerai
  7. It is real titanium, and the finish is very good... As stated above, the makers are moving away from titanium, as it is difficult to machine.. so get 'em while they're hot :-)
  8. My loverly 89 And my 91... I've been called out already as an anthracite [censored]
  9. Nice... Looks like real anthracite from here... That's it... I'm selling mine! Too bad the case isn't titanium like the original, and it's REALLY too bad they couldn't fix the most glaring dial flaw that's plagued these GMTs... The missing 9:00 marker LOL. The GMT hand pointer is also still too big. Why can't these guys just get it right for f*ck's sake? It's downright embarassing IMO.
  10. I really love the way Ebel has done this line... Don't know which I like more, the GMT or the chrono... They're elegent and practical, with a high quality movement. The Bucherer... I'm not too impressed with it... too busy a dial for me. I love my GMT :
  11. For *me*, the case diameter is way too small... It is a nice looking watch, but really not anything I'd be wearing to any event, black tie or not... I'd rather be sporting a nice Portuguese if I were to 'dress up' Also, I'm not too impressed with Chopard as a man's watch, I find the brand itself to cater more towards the ladies with their happy beaches, fishes, blingy this and that etc. Then again, I feel the same way about Cartier.
  12. Relax slay... no need to pop a vein. Geeez!! This is a watch forum.
  13. 40mm wears pretty large if you think 44mm will be large for you. It's amazing how your taste changes when you go 44... So far, I haven't been able to go 47mm, but 44 is very comfortable to me. Rolex subs and even Omega SMPs seem small to me now. My wrist is 6.75"
  14. Boy... you guys are tough... I initially voted for the Seahawk... that got shot down because the rules changed. Then I voted for the Ebel... that seems to have disappeared as well. Now we're left with an IWC, a Paul Picot (nice watch, but where did that come from??!!), and a TAG (??!!) There are a bunch of IWCs around, and probably in the making, a TAG (??!!), I'll go get one of them at a 5&Dime mall jewellery shop with my credit card almost maxed out, thank you! The Paul Picot is nice, and different, and good enough to vote for... maybe even good enough to buy, but it surely came out of the blue for me and couldn't see where to vote for it. All in all, I voted yay or nay for a bunch of watches, but they have all seemed to go missing in action.
  15. That's [censored] We actually CAN, and DO, have it both ways... We don't in any way condone selling fakes as genuines (although there may be a few that do this here) Maybe you don't know that many of us have both genuines and replicas. I for one would be horrified to purchase a watch from a high positive feedback seller on eBay only to find it to be a rep. This eBay listing is a big wake up call for everyone here and one of the main reasons we are here. I, for one, applaud this thread for calling this guy out. I've reported it to eBay and only hope that they are able to act in time.
  16. [censored] it... go for the jackpot. Just get a Panerai and you'll never be able to wear a sub again. Problem solved.
  17. Well then... maybe we should be calling him out. I would, but my fake ebay account for that reason has been hijacked I think.
  18. WOW... It's a sad day if this is really a rep being sold by an eBay seller with over 12000 feedback and 99% positive... And yes, 450EU is a lot of money for a rep with seconds running at 6 instead of 12
  19. Sorry to read, the Godfather of Soul has died... Good God, rest his soul
