  1. would have to disagree there most PAMs and Rolexes are not very accurate out of the box, most contain glaring flaws to the trained eye with Panerai, the exception is the Ferrari range, possibly the most accurate reps out of the box, if you are looking for easily attainable accuracy: smp chrono with eta datewheel, iwc 3717 with eta datewheel+ AR porsche design watches some of the chopards HBB new omega speedmasters, with 6-9-12 7750 config
  2. agreed, logo, pearl, lack of AR i would say fake
  3. legend. sorry to hear about the pp issues
  4. originally made for the steam forums but rings true here also,
  5. ^^ the OP was talking about the AC Chronograph, which as jot9011 said has some serious accuracy issues, I dont get why they just didnt make the seconds at three version, they have modified a 7750 to do this already, and the thickness of the movement is not an issue here
  6. http://www.chronometrie.com/watchsounds/watchsoundspage.htm check it
  7. Nice, hopefully this leads the way to some Sinn's next
  8. keep it private all you want, horrible looking thing, looks like a quartz sub dial lay out
  9. I went and ordered the 1.8 in the end, hoping they'll be fine, you got yours from cousins also or another supplier?
  10. i use this formula: - could i afford the Gen - can i mod it to 99.9% - will it look good/ sit well on my wrist if the answer is yes to all three: I go for it so far I have a - seamaster chrono fully modded awaiting gen bezel installation - Planet ocean, Gen dial, AR, awaiting Bezel insert (from gen bezel) installation - IWC 3717 AR, DD wheels, Re-Lumed actually double AR'd the crystal on my seamaster chrono, absolutely not true to the gen, but when you see the results, you realised they should have had it on the gen, really takes the watch to a new level
  11. received today, thanks again offshore
  12. are you sure? i thought that Hublot used a modified 7750 aswell, no?
  13. asian 7750's only wind in a clockwise direction, unlike their swiss counter-parts which wind in both directions
  14. true (well,I had it for the tenth most abundant), but the extraction process is what makes it expensive, its a difficult substance to isolate, hence the reason why some consider it exotic but to address the OP, as Josh has said to Francisco , we will probably see Ti coating on reps in the very near future
  15. looks good, nice pearl, best i've seen on an omega rep
  16. i'm pretty sure he means the watch case, as in what the movement goes into
  17. @V i think he's looking for watch cases ... could be wrong though but to address the OP, I think all you can do is to watch the trade area on this and the other forums
  18. when the 7750 is in its native 6-9-12 sub-dial layout there is no recessed date wheel, it is 'flush' it occurs when you start with 3-6-9 reps when the 7750 tries to emulate the 7753
  19. thanks, was thinking along those lines myself
