I got my "4" from Joshua .. perfect88clones@gmail.com .. the engraving and depth of rehat is best .. but wait .. Joshua is overseeing the dial .. in China.. better late than never. thanks bws ... I had a dozen colours I got years ago.. the olive is good as is the black.. but this is soothing to my eye's so I'll leave the silver-gray on it.. and btw.. the V4 bracelet is not happening.. the V3 has the best bracelet .. but the Zulu strap has the most comfort and takes a little weight off the wrist. I am told that the fixed dial will fit the V3 .. as well as the V4 .. I see no problem with the hands it's all the same movement.. L

I think we'll give it a couple more weeks ... so we're sure that all have gotten the message.. if you are aware of members who have not been active lately .. give them a holla ! Call them in for the shoot !! This contest is not so much about the prize but .. Braggin rights and Fun !!

There are 3 makers that top the charts.. they are known by the delaers as "The Big Three" .. All super reps.. excluding the Rolex brand are made by these makers.. AP Breitling HBB IWC B&R The maker that does the HBB.. although not a brand of choice for many does about the best job for a couple of years now.. replicating other brands You can start by looking for reps that are made with "Genuine as Sample" .. then go to the reviews.. As a starting point.. know what you would like to purchase.. go to the "Factory dealers".. Perfect Clones... Trusty... Precious Time.. Kingwatch .... and take a look.. they basically have the same replication by the same makers.. everyone needs a starting point !! .. reading only gets you so far without getting you totally confused.. "Some of us" have learned through trial and error.. this cost us dearly.. so let's not be so condecending toward the newcomer ! .. they will in turn pass on what they learn.. so teach them.. that is if you know what you are talking about yourself .. I still see questions in the shout box..asking about "who has the correct Omega logo" .. and btw PT or Silix.. has the correct logo .. so obviously you have not read.. and the only way to have knowledge is through experience and not just time on the boards !! what little time you have.. we are still all learning. get ma drift ?? That is a fine duo !!! ... but your black lung is like a magnet to the eye's Hind sight is 20/20.. but the 300t that wasn't running got away.. so I'm hunting daily ..

the watch need not be a rep,... and the rules for the shoot will be set during the pre-contest prep ... so to be fair the format for the shoot during each round will be set before hand and the contestants will ahve a aloted time in which to complete the image ... this won't be one image and done .... it could be a certain colour background with lights or outdoors with a motif that everyone will follow.. so the rounds may involve numerous images with a different format and time line, for each image.. this is a "rough" idea.. L

Sounds great vly ... if you would like to volunteer to assemble a crew to take on this project.. I'm sure a raffle would do well... as long as it's not too much time and money out of your pocket ... and if the members would donate their franken parts ... seems like it would be a franken to look forward to.. anything that would benefit the community as a whole would be more than welcomed.. We are going to start our Photo contest very shortly.. As a testament to Admin... we have done fairly well in the last raffle and Admins mind set is as long as we can take care of the monthly usage .. then we will give back to the community !! RWG is not a "For Profit" forum .. all the monies go directly to paying out fees.. so this is a project that you could very well take your time on. if we could table this until after the Photo contest... The V3 I have, the engraving is slightly misaligned ~ Valve ~ you need to search for the V3 pictorial review. (valve... is misaligned) the V4 engraving is aligned much better (if that is what you are referring to) and it has a deeper rehaut as the genuine. I never took macro pics of the V4 ..I will wait for the updated parts that are being made.. edit add: the engraving on the rehaut is much better on the V4.. the dial is semi gloss as the genuine... the dw is being updated .. it is not just beveled .. it has a wide step before the bevel.. ergo the dial is being made in two parts to be fused together as the genuine here is the V4.. I would wait until the dial is updated with the corrected date window. the genuine

by all means ... I'd like to hear more later ... the difference with my mind set is I like the "human element" technology today is so mindless once it is set up it really takes away from the Humite aspect. this is the internet.. some say vitual reality... but when all I get when I phone a business is a recording to press a number ...I tend not to be sensitive or motivated is more the word...... to that business. sometimes you cannot substitute real feelings and communication.. if this site were totally automated it would not be the same.... we try to do these functions as "real time" as we can and have someone attending to members 24/7 but lets table this until later.. something good always comes out of discussions .. L

I know the feeling T... I thought I would be ok with the dw... but it is in the making now.. so check with your dealer but the dial is not Matte .... it is semi glossy.. my dealer went so far as to make the trip to the maker and send me the pics of the genuine.. unfortunately I had to take out so much saturation it dissolved the gloss look.. I did this to shoe the detail fot he dw I think what was being explained to me was the dial is in 2 pieces (sandwiched) together that is why the dw was not replicated by the maker at first and the one that was... is still not accurate.. look at the bevel on the genuine.. it is like a framed double bevel.. ergo the "fused" dial to give it this detail.. I'll let you know more as soon as I am informed T. L

I love your enthusiasm Agrippa !.. keep that goin... you would be surprised how many hours go into these events.. just the planning and posting the initial "coming soon" post.. with all the different time zones communicating is not alway's "real time".. it may be hours before we can communicate a single message. and the Admin team spends untolod time policing the boards for scam sales etc. .. I do not envy them, it is not a "Glorified" position at all ! what we all see is a Forum that has great info.. great members... photo's .. etc. .. what we don't see is the hours of work it takes to keep this community safe and running.. We have had a sucsessful raffle to start the summer.. so instead of "stockpiling" watches for more raffles.. or holding another raffle immediately.. it was decided ... to "Give Back" and give the membership a "Challenge",whist giving away the watches that could be used for raffles.. I may be out of line sharing this .. but it's the Truth ! that is the way that ADMIN and the ADMIN TEAM Roll !! That is why I would really like to see full participation.. weather you think your good enough.. or a legend in your own mind.. doesn't matter.. we swim together or sink together ! The Challenge for this is to get the "WORD" out !!!! too many members and even cross over members find out about events after the fact.. So what you all can do for this event is ... GET THE WORD OUT !!! ... all over the bloody creation... we are "Giving Away" prizes and I would be bummed if we just got a hand full of contestants ! Our ultimate goal is to get images for a calendar .... if it's economically and logistically possible ... so as a TEAM .. and you are all apart of this TEAM.. this contest is not all about winning... but about participating in your community event !!
