I just ordered my strap from Aaron (hktan) ... his horned gator looks great .. I believe the same strap on AP bands is 349 usd... I believe the leather strap model will be made for the replication .. so I'm ordering the strap now and playing a wait and see with the conversion kit and deployment buckle..

This is what I posted.... please quote the entire line... The New A7750's are very good.. as good as the Swiss counterpart .. I send my A7750(28.8k as opposed to the 7750 21.6k) movement to Ziggy for full servicing.. they come back running spot on and really not a whole lot of difference from the Swiss.. the problem is not in the movements but as you know in the mods that it takes to replicate the functions of the dials.. The New A7750's are very good.. as good as the Swiss counterpart .. Ziggy has a review on the movement..but it comes down to the servicing.. but again the problems are with the mod kits in the replications mainly.. I regulated my first A7750 and after tweaking it for 2 days.. it's keeping the same time as my blackbery that I used to set the time.. it was running 60 minutes fast every 12 hours.. so that tells you something about the servicing of some of the movements from the factory.. although this rep was not from one of the Top 3 makers.. the recent A7750's form the quality high end rep makers are running well before servicing but alway's comes back much better after Ziggy takes them apart and services them..

Well,.. it depends upon IMO what "you" think or want the response will be.. as to weather it's acceptable that is a personal conclusion..between you and the seller... I myself don't look at buying a rep with the after thought of "will I get my money back if I sell it".. and if I were to get a Asian copy and it was supposed to be a Swiss ETA.. NO of course I cannot sell it as a Swiss.. full disclosure at time of sale would be automatic because if I am selling something it now becomes "my" responsibility and problem to check my bases to protect myself .... no option on that one.. so in this "hobby" there are Quite a few "pitfalls" ... there is a differnce in collecting replications as opposed to Genuines.. and they should not be confused..

For what it's worth.. the Breitling Heritage with the "Asian ETA" mine has been on the auto winder since last week and it's still running from what my eye can see SPOT ON !! I set it to my blackberry and there has been no deviation from the time..6:37 on both ...for me functionality is the key to "reps" And again for what it's worth... each individual should deal with their issues with collectors or whomever they bought the timepiece from directly and needless to say .. discretely if possible ... why is it posted on the board first before anyother avenue with the collector in question is not attempted ?? If advise is what members are seeking .. I would mail the collector in question and state... "please be mindful of the fact that the "genuine ETA" may be an Asian ETA.. i was told it was a "genuine Swiss ETA.. is this what is to be expected ? please advise.. simple.... ask an ye shall recieve ... or not.. either way at least you are informing the collector of the situation .. giving the benefit of the doubt... we all have tolerances .. the question being is will you "accept" the answer or search for something that suits you better ? what that is "I dun know"

This is getting to be a bit freaky R.. i have been thinking all day of my ordering a tourbi from Homer .. trying to take my thoughts off waiting for the AP.. Sort of like watching a fish tank..watching the cage spin... A customer invited me into his Den this morning .. turns out he collects antique pocket watches and Clocks.. walls filled with clocks and pocket watches from the 1800's .. all restored with original parts..it was something to see.. he said I can come back with my camera.. but the really amazing thing is they were all functioning.. he spends the better part of the morning manually winding all of them.. it was surreal to be in a den.. (fashioned after the turn of the century..20th) with a hundred clocks and pocket watches ticking away.. some rather loud.. it was a symphony of ticking.. My first thought .. which I found hilarious given my addiction... was... "wow, this guy needs help" .. then I caught myself..

It's cool ajoe.. think I'll be excused from this thread.. i just am really tired of this member constantly calling members out using derogatory names and thinking he is above the law .. and can do whatever he pleases.. for no positive effects on the board... I do not back collectors that I purchase reps from for obvious reasons.. But I do believe in due process and facts and not conjuecture before anything can be reviewed or facts proven.. when one tries to influence out of "personal" concerns then that is not even good business.. there are many members (myself for one) that are excited about the APROO release.. why crap all over it ?? Just for the sake of it... I take issue with sales that charge 10,000 points over the cost of the product, and say that it was because of PM's if it were free common !!..if it were for a fund raising for the forum I would buy it myself.. but for personal gain.. NO.. and then turn around and accuse me and others of untrue lies ... there are members who sell reps modded at what they put into it .. nothing wrong with that at ALL .. full disclosure.. but taking advantage of members without knowledge is not right.. and who is this.. the Newcomer ... alway's the newcomer is at a loss in these situations.. and then cry from the hill top.. scammer ..of others !! nuff said .. They are from the same maker... but different photograhers lighting etc. .. ergo some pics have had the saturation depleted therefore silver will look white.. I never go solely by the collectors pics.. I thought we learned this from past history .. ie. ChopardXXL ..Rolex GMTII .. I don't think a conclusion can be based on Pics nothing definative anyway.. I'll wait until I recieve the actual replication.. Contempt PRIOR to Investigation.. is what ???....... has anyone "bothered" to find the facts behind the pricing change ?? 2 words... "Clerical Error" in pricing .. why would King shoot herself in the foot ... and loose on this investment ??.. members think someone is forcing the price higher ?? sheesh .. after I see APROO's selling for a lot more with all but totally incorrect dials .. not flawed dials but sub second @9 .. no one blinked at the price... now we have a far superior dial configuration .. but not a given that it is 100% (yet) .. and it's not good enough.. and the total dial has been judged on pics that are not the best ? .. for myself I do believe it will look better than the factory pics...

And I do believe the screws on the bezel are polished smooth.. the maker tends to take out all saturation on his pics... so the "polished" look is gone but the screws are smooth as opposed to the brushed look of the bezel.. so I'll bet they are in fact Polished
