You need to make that decision for yourself given the information on the boards here..it comes down to what "you" value.. MBK is very good reps.. the new AP .. well read the thread on the movement (macro pics) .. then decide..

koko.... all the chronos are "working" when you see "functioning" on other dealers sites (other than RWG collectors) ..it could mean faux,.. the collectors on this board use "working" meaning they are as the genuine models.. running seconds @12 is because up to this time most or all of the AP have had incorrect sub dials due to the configuration of the movements.. so this has a mod kit .. although not tested in the field.. it is said to be tested by the makers and working to standards..

the genuine insert is a fraction of a mm smaller in diameter, which will leave a gap from insert ot bezel.... and thicker,.... it needs to be machined down.. the only way to make it work properly is to add a genuine bezel with insert.. this takes moding as the genuine is not a natural fit to the rep case.. Ofei has the genuine bezel /insert.. "around" 200 usd

This issue has been rallied back and forth since the "A7750" was released in it's first rep.. and has been reviewed by RWG's only true "Horologist".. and the "key word" here is serviced" Properly ... that means not just squirting oil over the movement .. but actually disassembling the entire movement.. and servicing the whole..unit piece by piece.. ultra sonic.. cleaned..take a look at some movement from the factory and you will find gunk.. gummed up.... with that said Ziggy has stated .. "with proper servicing" ... so have a look at the maker that put out the APROO and see what that maker has done to "service properly" the A7750 .. the gearing is tight .. smooth there is NO NOISE to the rotor ... it is silent .. at least this maker has realized what they have here.. and the only way to command high end reps is for them to function as such I have never had a A7750 serviced by Ziggy .. "properly" feel anything but 100% improved .... he was spot on in his assesment after disecting the movement.. before many were on the board ... He was correct !! and I stand by the "proof".. in his servicing and validation from the source of the reps... check this out if you haven't .. It is advised that you remove the crystal from the case .. before heating it.. I just assumed this I used 2 other reps as the mag on the GMT is juuuuust a hair to tall.. the gen GMCIIc .. it's mag is not as high off the crystal as the rep It pops right off.. so make sure you are pointing the cyclops towards a bunch of pillows.. preferably not synthetic.. cotton is best.. synthetic material will melt into the mag.. like getting plastic on a hot muffler..

OK W..promise not to say anything... the APRoyal Oak with rubberclasp bezel and rubber strap is going to be released in about 12 hours.. ssshhhhh seems like the dials will be endless now.. move over all other brands the AP has arrived in replication... FO REAL !!!!!!

I defer that Q .. before I mess up the smantics.. but on the same note.... the AAP. or A7750is still spot on .. runing fine.. I am going to run the chrono for a while now ..... I'm confident that this movement and the mod kit will be fine.. just my "feeling" .. given the QC of the movement so far..
