Be aware all .. that the black window has been done supposedly with a black marker pen .. and not by the maker .. futhermore the maker has deemed any watch that has been tampered with as the pieces with black date windows will not be warranted..

The Date window (black colour) was seemingly "fixed" overnight ... I inquired about the 2 different colours .. and if the maker was correcting this issue.. Now,.. this comes from the Maker NOT any Collector... the Maker did not redo the window and the Maker is not 'modding" the APROO ... the window has been covered over with black marker pen .. Let me state that I am not calling anyone collector or members on the carpet.. just making you aware of the discrepency in window colours.. the Maker has stated he will not honour any watches in which the date window has been covered with marker pen.. So be aware that the black coloured window does not come with that colour from the factory.. The good news is .. that if it could be done with a marker pen then it can be modded correctly with metallic or whatever.. matching paint..

if it's plated you cannot... If it is SS you can use a dremel.. white rouge then red rouge .. then finish with fine polishing red rouge.. finer than the normal red.. change buffing wheels for every polishing compound.. didn't you post this Q in 2 other threads ?? gotta stop doing that man.. 1 time .. if you haven't .. ma bad.. but I recall multiple threads with the same Q

I put on the APROO for the first time since last week... and I gotta say.. I am growing to like it.. after "accepting the size" and not comparing it to my wrist.. I think this is one that will definately look better to me on my wrist than previously thought.... After getting over the shock of the huge bracelet ... .... ......

Sorry Mr. confuse ... you can try and circumvent Chiefs AR.. and as we have tried to tell you .. there is no way to do this But conversely most of the general population does not know this watch exists.. let alone what AR is unless your talking to an avid watch collector.. in which case you should not hold out your rep for inspection... give it some time.. and in time you will learn how to remove the crystal and the mag and then learn how to reinstall it.. by the time chief has his next run you may have learned how to do this by yourself.. believe me when I say "if I can do it you can too" .. it's just the fear factor in screwing up.. but it is not like tearing apart the movement believe me ... of course that's easy for me to say since it took me awhile to take the initiative to do it..

You must of read the instructions for the Chrono watches and the A7750 movements.. never set the day/date or date with the hands in the 9pm to 3 am position.. this will jam the DW you will have to have the timepiece went for repair.. as a rule and so I get into a standard routine or (habit).. i alway's take the hands to the 5:30 positions am or pm.. respective of the time you are trying to set the watch to

Agree with the "personal preference choice".. And like subfrog I live in hot humid weather during the summer months and I like air to be able to circulate under the case and bracelet at times. the "fashion" people will tell you that the bracelet watches should be worn very loose like a bracelet ... I like it so I can just barely fit my pinky under the clasp .. at times it rides low but will move around my wrist a little..plus I don't like the "feeling" of beind "bound" but it comes down to: it's your timepeice your arm or wrist.. no one is "grading" you how you wear yours .. wear it however you feel comfortable physically and mentally

I think Rolex has realized that they need to stay current with the latest market 'trends".. it is why Jaguar and Mercedes went to smaller more gas economical cars.. to get a piee of the pie that they would be missing otherwise.. the new design and models may be around for a very short time .. or they may prove to be the next part of Rolexes evolution .. why did Porsche turn to water cooled engines when their whole history had been steeped in tradition in the air cooled engine.. because they could not keep up with the horsepower of the other lluxury sports models.. the Japanes Nationals.. (young kids) are buying up the 116710 .. in the AD's here.. why ?.. Japans youth sets trends... some companies "give" new release items to these fashionable "trend setters" .. all of the country follows suit.... so it would seem rolex needs to fashion for the "current generation".. the Baby Boomers are fading out.. they are just adjusting to the current market IMO.. Who knows how the "bean counters" think.. are they missing out on specific "size watches".. to the other luxury brands???.. Like any business they need to grow with the demand of the public .. Tradition to them is to keep making a sizable profit !!! that is the tradition that motivates all ..

I believe CB is talking about the issue and not the dial colour... so your saying the bezel screw will not release the bezel.. they are not made to turn btw.. are they frozen so that the bezel cannot come off ??

This model btw is the same one I got last year.... it is the same bracelet that is on most of the reps. ... so with 20 years of rep collecting under your belt.. you should have seen this one before?? I would lube it with some silicone compound.. other than that if you are unhappy you really need to communicate with your collector... members or the Admin team for that matter are not here to moderated or arbirtrate with you and your collector that has to been on a buyer to seller level.. what ever you do .. do not contact or call anybody !!! I don't know the procedure in EU .. but here you would get a certified letter not a 'phone call" from the delivery service.. be it US mail or otherwise..sit tight .. wait and see is all that can be done.. I don't see any siezure note... but again I am not familiar with th lingo there..
