  2. Agree with all .. wonder why the Omega reps are so good.. could it be the legalities with Omega as opposed to Rolex?? just a thought.. and BT by "insert" are you referring to the logo "feet"?
  3. I use the new silicone lubricating compound on all my bracelets..FYI.. it is not oily .. collects no dust.. it will turn bracelets into silk.. if you have that many issues and you have major concerns why don't you tell it..** tactfully ** to King.. remember the mantra.. you are purchasing reps that may need a little work.. Aloha~Cheers L
  4. it would be calssic to find out you got a genuine SMP .. i just couldn't look at the glare anylonger so needless to say for me it was not a matter of the crystal being accurate.. but about looking to "my eyes" SWeeet ! that snow i your pic looks really good right now with the summer heat !!!
  5. thanks.. but I think it's a liiiitle more involved than that..
  6. probably the best lume and dial accuracy out of the box.. Ziggy did mine but it didn't need luming .. the hands were painted a little closer to the genuine the crown is a must..oh and DW change... that's it.. I know it's not AR'd on the genuine.. but I couldn't help myself .. my crystal is in Cali at the moment being coated by ... yup.. it will have no crystal after the crystal returns
  7. oh... .. I thought I could pretend I was on EU holiday.... or just sleeping.. sheesh you guy's take all the fun out of this stuff
  8. Looks great S .... now onto the next obsession
  9. thanks for the scematic Freddy .. big help !!! fortunately the lever clicked back into place.. parts are not an issue as Ihave plenty of A7750's I'm willing to cannabalize.. I need to learn how to remove and reinstall hands that is hanging me up.. the removal looks relatively self explanitory.. what tool do you use for reinstalling ?? thanks in advance R
  10. Wow Noah I think you are going to fit in great here.. you are "value added" fo sure.. Welcome !!!! the forum could alway's use new knowledge !!!! Aloha~Cheers Lani

  12. Welcome to the Obsession Joe.. we live ,.. breathe .... and post watches.. and more watches... have fun and Live Strong and Wear Them Well !! Aloha~Cheers Lani
  13. Maybe some members are using it for a wedding ring...
  14. \Rolex is light .. it is "hollow links" and you will come to appreciate the build.. the heavier solid links get to be a nussance after constant wear.. IMO ... i have grown to really love the weight of the Rolex.. the Rotor can be lubed to quite the ball bearings in them .. i am assuming you have the asian movement ??
  15. my left or your left ? your right or my right ?.. this can get confusing.. but regardlesss.....loookin gooood laz !!!!
  16. I'm not in any rush Ken.. it's not like I desperately need it NOW... hope everything with Pri ck pal works out for you ..
  17. Cool !! thank you T!!
  18. Sorry.. go ahead and follow freddy's cue..
  19. Tell them lower their prices...
  20. ... he's new freddy could be a bit much to take in all at once..
  21. Your english is fine man.. better than i could do in your native language.. sound like the date wheels are misaligned .. i had the same problem on one of my GMT's last year.. email King .. you need to send them back for repair .. remember you cannot insure this parcel.. to claim anything you have to show proof of purchase ... but it should be totally safe.. it takes about a month or a little over that ..to and from what ever you do do not take it into a AD (authourized dealer) or watchsmith you do not know and trust personally.. this is an illicite trade item.. I know your stressing but we have to play the game with these things all the time... part of the ball game.. let us know how it turns out .. many members are customers of King.. she should come through for you Aloha~Cheers Lani
  22. HOLY CRAP BATMAN !!!!! that was fun viewing RB .... necessity is the Mother of all invention.. that vise looks lethal though
  23. .. Well said Igor... I meant By Tor.... .... (dis guy is a favourite of Zeus himself)
  24. "modding" is not as simple and easy as it sounds.. there have been members who have destroyed reps ... time to slow down bud ... try and take it slowww that is the enjoyment of our hobby to "learn" about timepieces.. AR is not a simple "kitchen" task.. Luming sausage dials .. well... let's not go there.... Horology.. a science .. you need knowledge .. not just tools... take is EASY.... all you got is TIME Remember .. this is an "Illegal" (bottom line) hobby.. never wear a rep into an AD.. Cardinal Sin ....never send money by Paypal stating "watch" ... and check with members before purchasing from other than a forum collector.. it will save your grief and $$$
  25. Yes C.. only resale items coming "back" to the USA need have a CITIES CERTIFICATE.. TC Straps has all the certificates a lot of the Asian vendors do not.. a BOB faux alligator strap was confinscated during it's shippment here.. a letter sent to me that it would go top the forensic lab and if it turns out not to be reptile .... well it was not and they sent me a form to sign .. they sent back my strap.. I did not sign nor return the form.. don't need my sig. on file.. so your safe if you are travelling either way and have it on as part of your clothing or on a watch that is your personal one in your luggage.. it is when MBK ships a genuine that it is of concern..if they have genuine hides.. Cheers Lani
