I forgot to mention the AR is superb.. the height matches the design.. it's a very cool watch .. it comes with a little tool to turn the crown.. I never use it but it will make turning the triangle easy.. the GMT hand adjust the date.. the happy.. unhappy face is supposed to dictate the weekday and the weekend me thinks..under the second at the 9 are sun and moon markings and the red needle rotates for a 24 hour cycle kinda cool.. and definitely not seen by the generic Rolex and Pam crowd.. the balance on the wrist is very good.. let me get a wristi up..

Let me know rytox.. I have the a correct black/white going to Deniz.. and have the orange numeral dial (correct) if you should need it..i replace both with the genuine dials..

We can request form the Admin Team a section.. perhaps below the GD section.. for members to post .. that they would like to "submit" articles or "events". My thought is for the Newsletter staff to then contact the member and screen the articles or events.. We can organize the structure of the Newsletter as we progress..I suggest we keep it simple for starting up..lets do something simple to start and target our first mailing in maybe 2 weeks ???.. we can send out a mailing announcing our new project.. just to give members who haven't been around a "Heads Up" eventually let's share stuff like.. different cultures.. diet.. habits.. and of course watches.. Dunno if an "attachment" to the email will be needed down the road.. all that can be polished as we progress.. I like the "Spotlight" Member thingi.. not to take away from KB's interviews.. it would be a very brief short paragraph or 2 to highlight an member or group..

Actually it was a much awaited release awile ago.. the GTXXL caused a buzz and did not disappoint... it still is IMO.. one of the best replications. The XL is also good.. but be careful of the different versions..

For an addition to our community .. what do you guy's think of a monthly or bi-weekly Newsletter?? to include .. anything that would be of interest to the community... such as Upcoming releases,Raffles, Reviews, GTG pics, anything that would be of interest.. upcoming newborns.. any event that would prove interesting to our Community. maybe a "spotlight" on a member of interest.... a list of Newcomers.. welcoming them.. Just a cornucopia of interest within the community watch related or other hobby's that members partake of.. We would ned a small team of members ... those journalist that have time?? members could submit upcoming projects.. or a heads up to items that are being manufactured.. ie. .. updates on the Palp crowns that are being made, as an example..this would mean follow up by the "staff".. like Kruzers PreV watch cases.. which would help cut down the PM's to the individuals and keep us informed.. TJ ?.. Toad? .. Maxman??.. Redwatch??.. Deniz?? .. hackR.. Freddy333(articles?)...RoninQ??.. I'm naming members whose energy and enthusiasm could be "value added"... not that they are not already.. but there is so much more we can tap into.. Also, this will keep the members that cannot frequent the forum as much as they would like to be kept up to date on their hobby.. we can ask Admin if the "Newsletter" can be emailed to all members.. so no one will miss out on the happenings on RWG . featured articles by members.. thought's.. of course we could just post these.. but it would serve as a vehicle to those that have been absent for awhile and call back some old members whom have taken extended sabbaticals.. that's an old article.. it was widely known sometime ago.. seems like smoke and mirrors that the periodical claims to be helping the consumer "not" buy the reps.. when in fact they are aiding the buyer.. too funny.. RWG is still the leader imo.. in knowledge through "experienced" members what do we have 23,699 members .. RWI about 20,000.. RG a bit less than RWG.. so we cannot say over 60 thousand total.. since most members are registered on both sites..Not too long ago 8,000 on RWG seemed like a massive amount of members.. the rep industry is growing in leaps and bounds.. no wonder Swiss sales have declined sharply.. epecially with the escalating prices and World economy .. even more reason to keep our reps out of AD's.. but I digress.. We should start our own little "In House" periodical.. hmmmmm think that is something to follow up on...

It's interesting to keep abreast of what the Swiss Luxury brands are putting out in regards to our reps.. propaganda runs rampant.. for example.. the article that is attempting to spread the rumor that reps fund World Wide terrorist.. obviously aimed at swaying sales from purchasing reps.. They have also released the Top "10" rep. list.. to arm consumers that shop online.. the assessment of these "fakes" are pretty accurate.. and makes one wonder ..how many members we have that are reading our reviews for the Swiss brands.. it would be naive to assume that all sorts of peeps that are out to end the trade are here.. Have a look at what is is deemed the top ten.. pretty accurate account of our watches, although I think there are more accurate reps out of the box.. Here AC/Lani

Slart.. I think "Homemade" is totally solid !!!.. great looking dial Ma Man!!! I do now have a couple of dials that I won't be needing.. the MBK an ND "Precision" dial.. if anyone would be interested in those @Alligoat.. if I do use the hydrochloric acid it would be before I send it to relume and not in the area that would affect the fit of the hands on the cannon pin.. I'm thinking more for the corrosive effect toward the end of the hand set.. I think I'll give it a go on some throw away hands first of course..

You got it.. tomorrow..of all the gilt dials that Yuki has, this may be the most accurate Yuki's 5512 4 line gilt is incorrect.. I am forced to go with the ND on that upcoming project.. there is something about the gilt dials that captivate my eye's..I guess it adds to the vintage look. I wonder if brushing some battery acid on the hands would make them look like really vintage ,.. I've been meaning to try it on some hands and seeing if it will do the job...just in strategic spots..

Teh SABS does not appear as big on the wrist as the SS SA.. but if it's size your concerned about Skyland BS for sure.. it is ..imo the best out of the reps.. mainly because of the replication of the coating..

the older 7750's for whatever reason did.. or does still perform better in the Daytona's.. go figure.. the A7750's was the Daytona's fall..

the vintage spring bars don't fit in the Yuki 7026 end links..so I had to use the slimmer bars... maybe a gen bracelet at some point and time.. Stilty is still the "One".. imo.. he does some incredible overlays and other mods on his own.. I am just fortunate to get Magic of Ziggy to do mine..

Mickey my alluding to "clueless".. is not bringing your IQ into play.. this for me is not about who has the best deals or opinions on why dealers price.. or demeaning dealers.. it is solely about the fact that if you are making a profit .. whatever it is 1.00-100.00 and are doing so by taking someone's work (stealing) someones work to do so .. that is not right.. PERIOD... where do you draw the line?? you will defend tony for his practices because of the sole fact that you feel his pricing is what all should charge..? those initial pics that are viewed are tie ones that sell the watches.. if not why steal them?? the simple solution.. take your own pics of the product "you" are selling.. if you don't want to it must mean one thing.. you can do better with someone's pics and that to me equates to somebody else dong the work for you to make a profit.. Take away the prices and what do you have?? stolen pics.. period.. all other justifications as to why should not come into play.. be it a rep watch or not... a thought of showing the same pic for a better price comes to mind..the same pic.. better price.. What gets me is not the fact that we are supposed to be all right with stolen merchandise because these are reps.. where do we draw the line?? I'm not dictating.. if you feel that it's OK to steal.. weather it's for reps or not .. that is your mindset.. you talk about "honest views".. is that not contradicting the "honesty" factor .. My point is .. if you sell a rep .. you don't have to be totally honest?.. how many times have we seen that here through the years? where do we draw the line to "scams".. is scamming another dealer's pics justifiable dishonesty? shall I take pics off the net to sell the same watch for a great price?? I could go on .. because for me your either going to be honest or your not.. like either your pregnant or not.. there is not "Well kind of" that is my view on the forum.. unless your a child molester or something of that nature.. I'd like to draw the line on what is acceptable.. not because of a good deal..
