I hope so I wouldnt mind a good quartz Breitling at all. Its a shame they dont put in the same effort they doon the quartz models like they do on the 7750's. Id love to have one that looks superb like the SA but the reliability of a quartz.

A new strap for my Sinn just arrived and it inspired me to take some pics and try another strap, see what you guys think. At first I though a PVD watch would be quite limiting in strap options but I think it goes well with brown strap, I wish I had a lighter brown to also try. On black leather with red stitch On dark brown with white stitch On rubber that it came with

I cant like blue dial watches, I dunno, they seem immature and cheap looking. Black or white never fails.

Thanks for the advice chief, you are a specialist in these matters. Ill leave it alone, or send it off tome someone who knows what they are doing. I have greased all the gaskets and taken it in the showere without problems, havent had a swim yet thou. The crystal is in there pretty damn tight, I think it should be good for a swim, maybe not dive.

Got this Sinn a month or so ago, happy with it and all, but true to form, no rep is every perfect. While I noticed this from the start it didnt mother me too much, but is there a way to get this fixed easily? Would the crystal have to be removed and pressed again? Or does it simply need a little more of a nudge in?

Some options for ya Omega Planet ocean 45mm Breitling seawolf UN Maxi Marine any Uboat, they are all massive

The UN Maxi Marine is another great one that has a saphire crystal with a 21 j movement. Very solid watch, going to be my next buy.

Its rare that they are the same, they usually castrate the 21j version to entice you to buy the more expensive one. But when it is the same the seller will usually state it. the 2 that I know off the top of my head, they are the Sinn U2, and there was a bunch of Brietling Steelfish that were also the same as the swiss version (with saphire and double AR) around at one stage.

Personally, I go for non chrono's when it comes to a daily beater. Simply less that can go wrong. When I was walking I managed to Bump the start button on my Breitling Avenger really hard, which started the chrono and I couldn't turn it off, it sorta jammed in. Lent it to a friend, it now stops the chrono, but the reset button doenst work.. dunno wtf he did. Where as with a simple and tough screwdown non chrono, you cant do too much damage. Guess it depends on how abusive you are on your watches, Im pretty bad. Can go wrong with an Omega PO, Breitling Steelfish, Breitling Seawolf, Sinn U2, Panarai (if you can stomach them)

Sinn u2 21j version. Everything is the same but the movement, saphire with the best AR I have seen on a rep( reviews say its actually better than the gen) waterproof and tough watch, highly recomended.
