yeah just get your money back, they dont have what you are after, there should be no hard feelings. This has happened to me before, and after I asked them if they have it in stock and they said yes, when I paid, not in stock pick another.... I Just said thats the only watch I wanted sorry, refund. Try and get what you want, dont get convinced into buying another watch just cause thye have your money.

Breitling Super Avenger and Bentley flyng B size comparison (lotsa pics)
opti replied to opti's topic in The Breitling Area
ok, I have fitted the bracelet and taken some shots. This model comes with the Breitling Speed bracelet which is used exclusively for the Bentley line. it is a very nice bracelet with 5 rows of links and plenty of shiny bling, but not the most comfortable I must admit. for reference also, a Skyland Avenger on my wrist ohh and an Omega Planet Ocean 45mm -
Breitling Super Avenger and Bentley flyng B size comparison (lotsa pics)

Another thing to consider is that the SA is the blacksteel version, black always looks smaller then the stainless steel version. -
One of the forum members was asking me about these watches in PM and thought I would make a thread for others that might be interested in these watches. The main concern with these beasts is the size, how is it going to wear. I have an 7.5 inch wrist, and here are the photos of how they wear on me: thickness side on laid out side by side And here with an Omega Seamaster 300 for comparison, the seamaster is a 41.5mm diameter watch Omega on my wrist The bentley Flying B wears much larger with a bracelet, very blingy and shiney, I haven't got a pic of me wearing mine with a braclet at the moment, but this is waht it looks like. I can fit the bracelet on and take a pic if there anyone really wants to see it.

for 5 years he will carry that around anouncing his donkey [censored] ways. What will be even funnier is if he takes it to a watchsmith for the next battery change

Any news on a updated rep coming out in 2012?
opti replied to edg71908's topic in The Breitling Area
lots of rumors flew around at one stage, we were supposed to get a new Super Avenger, and also the Seawolf which is out of production at the moment. but nothing has come of it and rumor has died. -
your pretty picky eh? anyway I just looked at my Super Avenger Blacksteel and it does have the loop, but the brietling logo is printed on this models dial, not a badge like the regular SA. Just anohter option if you really want an SA and dont mind a PVD watch.

beautiful watch, love the dial color you have chosen

holy [censored] thats awesome

love the story of the tag! my first rep was a square lange from turkey. didnt know it was a rep cause i hadnt heard of the brand, but it lasted me 2 years, was a quartz job, most likely dead battery, innacurate as [censored]. but scored me many compliments from girls.

IWC big pilot and breitling super avanger are the two i have had, both great watches. love the breitling, its a big hunk of masculine watch. IWC is a bit more like pam in its simple styling and lines.

Ladies ceramic F1 - anyone seen/heard anything?
opti replied to Brietling Fan's topic in The Tag Heuer Area
Is this available on their site? I was just about to pull the trigger on one myself for the wife. Really glad I found this thread -
crappy thing to happen, I wish they would improve this issue, its seems to be really common and its a real pain in the ass to fix. Everytime I screw the crown down in my watches I am paranoid,

and in the info its actually says its 45mm, clasp looks [censored] (bad etching and logo), nowhere near as good etching as the regular clasps which are so good its almost impossble to tell from gen. Pushers look off (too skinny) and strap is off too, the square part of the rubber should be wider and not raised as high. It says that its a 24-20 on the back of the strap, i doubt its 24mm with at the lugs

Looking for a guy who can get gen Breitling straps at a discount...
opti replied to Rolexman's topic in The Breitling Area
Im sure they sell the deployant version rubber without the deployant, but the buckle yeah would be sold with buckle only I imagine. If only for the poor bastard who has cut his too short, sure they wouldnt make him buy a deployant just for the new strap! here is what Im talking about: -

I think its a bit harsh on Reg there guys, he has been part of this community a long time. I bought my first rep of him actually and many more, a gentleman every time. I dont think he was [censored] talking, he is disappointed that after all those years only 9 people could manage to wish him well.
