  1. Thought this one got swiped....but it made it to the great one (Zig) and back. Full service and running great as expected: And if anyone wants to try and swipe it now.....my "Watch Dog": Enjoy your Tuesday.
  2. Ubi, Let me know if I can get any Gen parts for you from my watch guy.
  3. J, Look at the underside as well........it should also bevel a bit. There has to be room for the bezel to push down and clear to turn. Kurt.
  4. I'll stop in at my watchmaker and pick up a few O-Rings. Send me your address, Kurt.
  5. Here are pictures of the groove and the 2 O-Rings: The O-Ring in the Vertical area of the Rehaut backside is thin and very tight. I hope this helps. I am not aware of any Rolex Gens with this feature so to me it's a mystery.
  6. Not the groove we are talking about......I will get some shots of it shortly....
  7. I have a friend's Great White and it has the same groove. Pug, it is not the one under the Compression ring milled into the case body, this one is on the backside of the rehaut. I managed to search through my watchmaker's collection of O-rings and I got one to fit nicely. It needs to be the right circumfrence and very thin. Good luck, Kurt.
  8. I saw his listings.....Nice dials and great gesture!
  9. Serious? A member takes the time to EDUCATE you and this is your response? Good luck....
  10. I am always early.....I can't stand feeling rushed because of someone else's tardiness. I am alway trying to squeeze as much as I can into every minute of everyday.
  11. Nice work J! Lani, where did that dial come from? As usual, I dare anyone to find a community that comes together to help each other more than this one. RWG.........a great place to be.
  12. Here is the finished product. Original ring on the right: Notice in this picture (above) ... the ring on the right has a gap between it and the table. There is a slight bevel from the undeerside that allows the bezel to rotate when pushed down. Justin, Thanks so much for taking on this to help me and others out. Note: Look closely at the loaner underside. There is a slight thinning or bevel on the edge that allows the bezel to turn freely when pushed down. You may have it but in your pictures it is hard to tell. Use a micrometer and measure fron the inside(nearest the crystal) and pull it outward toward the edge and you should notice a thinning right at the very edge. Thanks again and thanks To Lani for the loaner.
  13. That would be awesome. To be clear, the ring is the piece that fits snugly over the crystal and the bezel snaps onto it. Regards, Kurt.
  14. Not really sure. The inside diameter of the ring would be the same....but I don't know about the outside diameter. In fact if you look at the link from UBI, it shows both types....but no dimensions or measurements :-(
  15. Hey Red....Thanks. Don't ever let that Tudor out of your grasp :-) The MBW you sent is the watch I am trying to finish. I sent the Ring and bezel to Justin so he could replicate it and the package disappeared. The Tudor has the same construction as what I need but I can't ask you to part with it.
  16. Thanks for the offer but the 1665 has a thicker ring. It has to be from a 5512/5513/1680. Jusin, can you handle the bevel request?
  17. As close as I can find: Someone please post a picture of the damn ring itself......please.
