Please PM me so we can get this piece of history on my finger.
Kurt.
Great googleeemooogleeeee I sure miss that one.
Great job all the way around and the bracelet came out perfect.
Everyone has mentioned all that is special.....except that this is so original, the pointed CG's are still square.
Fantastic watch.
Merry Christmas!
O.k., so>>>>>welcome to you Bill. Plenty of experience and knowledge to be found here.
In my opinion, I wouldn't spend $100.00 on that lot of watches.
But hey, your money>
Good luck,
Kurt.
JoJo look-alike,
You have it figured out. You may not need to remove the date wheel. You will see the levers of the keyless works when you remove the dial. Simply nudge the lever with the pin back into position and re-install the dial and hands.
Simple really.
Actually:
1 flat rubber seal where the Tube meets the case.
1 O-ring at the bottom of the threaded portion of the tube
1 O-ring inside the Crown
2 O-rings inside the Tube
So it a 5-lock Or Quint-Loc system....doesn't quite roll off the tounge like Trip-loc.
Glad to help....hold the applause :-)
Trying to build a watch out of spare parts.
So far:
Donated case set(Thanks to you know who you are)
Ubi Tudor dial that I sold but the buyer thought it was mis-represented condition wise(Glad to have it back)
Nice hands....bad Patina(New on order from Rolex)
Gen 25-19 Crystal
Gen tube and Gen 704 crown(Remember that debate)
Gen ETA slow-beat donated by a tired old Titus
Gen Spring bars
Nice DiModell strap(Waiting on a donated 93150 MBW Thanks)
And a Holiday wish from the people that put a smile on my face in the darkest of times:
regards,
Kurt.
