Are you sure these photos are not mixed up? The image shows the two "golden" gears on top which are driven with the rotor ... have a gen amount of drilled holes. I thought the way to tell an Asian rep ETA from a real ETA was that the Asian ETA has only 4 weight-reducing holes in those gears.
And I, as well .. v5, baby!!
Some people talk Chris down, but he's taking care of an issue I have with my V5 in a very satisfactory way. I told him I'm in line to see Zig for some SuperLume and so Chris sent along a part for me to forward to Zig instead of me shipping the v5 back to China for evaluation.
That's good service.
AFAIK this is an older "version" with a newly decorated/painted movement which has the same color red gears as a 3135
I'm just a newb who has a v5 but I agree with Gio about the V5's best-est-ness. Isn't this Supreme just a v3 with a painted movement? I could be wrong.
So I looked at the DSN page for this watch and I still love it ... someone school me on it, tho .. what makes this rep worth 2x the price I paid for my DSSDv5?
Is this watch modded by hand from a base model? I see it has (i think) real tritium numerals?
HI .. Im Jkay and I hate PAMs .. I know .. "stone him", etc ... but I have to say that I love this watch.
I've only been around a couple months, so who/what is DSN ? I might just get on the list for one of these.
No not the fingerprints. Look where I've circled on the image I attached. I can see that part you are talking about and it's different than the tool marks I think I see.
Not visible is the incorrect caseback .. it'll be hidden under the caseback retaining ring. It's a stepped back, instead of the proper cone I believe. But that's hidden
Is it my imagination or are those tool marks on the clasp, on the polished bar .. stamping marks that were not buffed and polished out? The DSSD is a very handsome watch for people who do not mind it's size. I love mine .. enjoy!!
Many cameras have a "Set Balance" function .. hold a white piece of paper in front of the subject and activate the function. It will read the color correction directly off of the white paper. If your tent is white ... then no paper is needed .. read the correction off of your tent.
I thought that the new (forthcoming) WM9 watch is a DeepSea ... not a DSSD.
I see that WM9 has a DSSD listed under "future projects" but it's far down the list ... like 3 years down the list.
I wish this was in English .. I'd like to understand what they found. I see the brushed link sides, instead of polished .. I see the clasp screw is recessed instead of flush ... but I dont know what's wrong with the other red circles. Is the Lume supposed to be Gloss and this watch is Flat lume? I don't know.
So I wrote Eurotimez to ask if they could get the Senator Sixties which was all the rage a few months ago, and sure enough they can. On the way!!!
DROOOOL
ps - all proper respects to the original posters of these photos. YOU made me do this!!!
ETA deciding not to sell to anyone except SWATCH Group companies is slitting their own throats. The Chinese will rush to fill the need for quality movements, and that's that.
