in the past, people on this forum have posted tear-downs of Gen DSSD watches. These tear-downs reveal that some time during the second year of Rolex DSSD production, the dial finish was switched ... so either gloss or matte is "correct" .. both have been used on the genuine piece.
sweet jesus. no offense but the "white paint mod" is a complete piece of shit.
why would anyone paint platinum numerals white and think that it's a good thing.
I'm sorry but this has been a sore point with me for years now. please stop painting your platinum colored insert white, folks.
Also the DSSD is correct in both gloss and matte dials. there was a change in production in the second year. changing a gloss dial to matte is the same as throwing your money down a rat hole. OM NOM NOM rats love to eat money.
This is that bad version that says PLANET O C E A N ... terrible spacing on the back cover.
It should say PLANET OCEAN ... all caps but the first letter of each word in a larger font.
Oh I agree with you that the Miyota is a better movement .. I'm just telling the OP, so he is not surprised/shocked when he can no longer hack his watch.
You would be surprised how much more silver and perfect a stainless steel watch looks after it has been in soap and water. Your body oil turns it gray and dull.
From this angle, it is very hard to tell but it looks like a nice example of a EuroTimez/TrevorTime model DSSD. Not a NoobFactory DSSD.
They even improved the pearl.
I should have been more clear:
This is a Noobfactory Ultimate V ... yes. They jumped from version 3 to version 5, and this is no v3. That is how we know it is less than 2 years old.
This is a normal NoobFactory Ultimate DSSD, less than 2 years old. It is sold by the Cartel, all the trusted dealers, and BK ... this is the watch most people here own when they buy a "DSSD"
Depending on the movement inside of it, it's sold for between $99 and $380 USD
High quality replicas of divers watches ***should be*** waterproof, but always check!!! Do not trust them to be, since a QC error can ruin the water tight properties.
They are supposed to be waterproof .. bad QC means maybe they are not. Check!
These are not cheap canal street replicas. they use genuine style construction. they should be waterproof .. but check.
