  1. Can you tell us what kind of watch you are asking about. We can then tell you which watch technicians are closest to you.
  2. There is a store here on the Forum that sells a top-quality tool kit. Look at the Watch Bitz area. If you go to their web store, be sure to let them know you're an RWG member to get a discount price. http://watchbitz.com.au/shop/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=259
  3. Beautiful. Love the insanely rare steel "watchsmith" Day/Date
  4. The 7750 chrono movement is very complex and often needs a full service to operate properly if you buy it in a replica watch.
  5. The winding gear of the 7750 (Swiss and Asian) can have it's gear teeth broken by manual winding unless you are very careful. It is not recommended to manually wind a 7750 every day.
  6. I've never seen anything like it (no he's never seen anything like it) I've never seen anything like it in me liiiiife!
  7. Best pearl placement in a UPO42 I have ever seen. Unless there is something I am not seeing, this is a great example. No pics of the clasp engraving, tho? Tell him .. "this looks very good. please show me the clasp engravings so I can approve this watch."
  8. The factory decided to only make a limited run. You can sniff around but I think they sold out last year.
  9. When I was a noob, used to swirl my quartz B&R to wind it. I thought it was an undetectable rep
  10. Can Cousins UK send you a new one? It's only been 4 days.
  11. You have come to the correct conclusion. I had no idea if you imagined a Submariner rep could be 600 to 900 dollars, so when you ask about the "best" my best reply is "how big is your cash bag" BK offers upgrades to his basic TW Best Sub, including genuine parts.

    BK

I had to go back three years to find this for you. You are welcome. Scroll down in this link
  13. Thanks a lot. Normally when a main dealer changes their URL they announce it in the Forums.
  14. The "big" dealers here re-ship through the UK to EU destinations. What's your price range? That is a big determining factor. ETA Subs start at around $280. high quality replicas of diver's watches should be waterproof, but poor QC at the factories can trip this up. Always test!! This is an inexpensive insurance against disaster. Yes, they are designed to be waterproof but what if the man who assembles it forgets a gasket. This happens! Always test. Here's a Trusted Dealer's Ceramic Submariner (2011 model) with asian copy ETA movement.
  15. Unfortunately they seldom separate the watches into a "Ladies" section ... they should tho!!
  16. Puretime's URL is coming up as inaccessible .. did it change within the last week or two?
  17. There is a thin metal spring under the bezel. That spring causes the bezel to only turn in one direction. The dental floss has jammed the spring.
  18. The problem with buying a used $5400 bag for $400 on eBay is that you are most likely buying a $250 rep.
  19. Yes KB can get the KeepAll series as well .. there used to be a beautiful picture here of a 50 or 55 series in Nomade leather .. WOW .. but as time goes on, more and more things vanish from the Internet.
  20. Welcome! If you have Breitling questions, you would do a lot better to start a topic in the Breitling area, with a heading mentioning the watches you are curious about. The Breitling specialists here wont notice a "hello" post.

    PreV case

I'm sure someone will tell me I'm full of crap but the 127 "1950" is a piece released in 2007, which copies Panerai's own style from the 1950s ... like a self-homage. Vendome bought Panerai in 1997 I think?? So the 127 would not be "Pre-Vendome"
  22. You're right. The white FA Jones on WatchEden has hands which look 2mm or so shorter. Still, an excellent watch for $108 USD
  23. Yes that's right. The large hand counts off seconds, and the little sub-dials record the passing minutes and hours, plus the little sub-dial which is the "normal" seconds hand.
  24. The "big hand" is the stopwatch hand. The little one is the normal seconds hand.
  25. I could re-read his post but I don think so?? I'll check.
