  1. You guys only need to look at the dealer web sites ...... yes there are 40mm PR and GMT replicas ... just go ahead and go to the web stores. Are they "current" 1:1 replicas? No. They are older but certainly not junk.
  2. Wow nothing like being eRaped ... The entire DSSD watch sells for $98 with a21j movement.
  3. I know Trevor sells them for $27.
  4. For anyone who might care, NewEgg.com will have the Seiko 5 Sport for $88 USD shipped starting at 1PM Pacific Daylight Time as their daily, limited-time Shell Shocker deal. Free shipping probably only includes CONUS.
  5. and let me add ... I accidentally dissolved the glue in my DSSD insert with the chemical in Cape Cod cloth, and it fell out onto the cement floor of my garage. It hit upright on it's edge and rang like a silver bell TIIIING TING TING as it bounced across the concrete. No breakage. Picked it up and glued it back in.
  6. Sorry you were ripped off on your first purchase, but even if you do your research you can't stop a bad dealer from lying to you and sending you junk. That's why we collect trusted dealers here. Some have been with use for years and years. Decide what you want and buy with confidence.
  7. How's it going? Welcome to the Forum. Lots to see and read here.
  8. Do you want to spend $150 or $600 ? LOL ... good question. Look in your wallet and decide
  9. If you look on the front page of this forum, you will see a big list of our trusted dealers about half way down the page. They are all in China, and mail directly to your house. It takes about 5 days. welcome to the community, and read all you can about everything ... it's the only way to learn! Here's a link to one of our dealers. http://www.trustytime.com
  10. Let me Google that for you ...... here you go!! http://bit.ly/J7oFrE
  11. This is the very first hit in a search for TOP GUN REVIEW
  12. Few years ago when the TG was popular, there were at least 3 pictorial reviews here.
  13. A 7750 chronograph watch is a brave first purchase. It is a complicated thing. If it starts to break, do not worry, it needs professional service. Always remember this when you buy a chronograph watch.
  14. There's a trusted (on RWI) watch tech in MN ... just close to you. He turns pieces around in under a week and is very professional/communicative/amiable. No chronographs/7750 .. only 3-handed watches. shoot GKLONER at GMAIL dot COM a mail and tell him your issue.
  15. The rep has white paint but the Gen has dark grey paint.
  16. There are four trusted watch techs in the USA, one in Canada, some in Europe .. just mail your piece to the closest one to you. Turn around can be as short as a couple days to as long as a month depending on their workload. Why spend cash on a return to China when all you need is a service. If your new watch is missing pieces or broken parts ..yeah send it back, but for movement troubles?? Service it.
  17. There are Bronzo reps but as far as I am aware, instead of forging a bronze case, they plate a steel case in gold. Not optimal. http://www.1-pc8838.com/0pn382n01-submersible-bonzo-cule-sg35j-auto-p-11535.html If you know anything about Perfect Clones, you will know that they HATE IT when you try and help someone buy from them, and block the posted links like total a-holes. You have to try and load the link 2x ... that will let you through to the page.
  18. OK thats an easy one .. send GKLONER at GMAIL dot COM an email ... he is a trusted watch tech (on the RWI forum) in the Midwest, and works on non-chronograph reps. Tell him you need it serviced and regulated. He is reasonable, professional, and turns around quickly.
  19. If you seriously do not want to go for the whole kit, and only want to buy tools for bracelets, you need to buy separately: - spring bar tool (bracelet removal tool) - tiny hammer - plastic anvil - pin punches - pin press - jeweler's screwdriver set That cluster of gear should re-size any bracelet.
  20. Rolex watches from that era did not have ratcheting bezels. You push them in and twist them.
  21. Are you talking about a Rolex vintage? That's correct ... you press down and turn with your fingertips. No clicks.
