  2. #2 People, it is anonymous, VOTE! There should be a huge bystander effect going on here, so people who are in doubt, please vote as You'll probably help other people to vote as well.
  3. Yep, and I'm gonna use butter on these!
  4. Although they are not my primary target, they gave me some new key words to use in my search. Many thanks!
  5. And I don't mean out of boredom/ice cream/baby oil Somewhat like these http://www.rwg.cc/members/A-Bit-Of-Repping...age-t21463.html Probably WM, but where else? If anywhere else? Preferably for a fixed cannon pinion
  6. I must say, I have a really really bad feeling about this. Hope that everything works out for you Narikaa, PT and tourby.
  7. I see we are sharing long and strange delivery times/routes. Ordered a book in the end of Jan. 2006 from (a seller on) Alibris in the US. Delivery took about 10 months to Sweden, and in that time it had seen more of the world than I have - or will ever be able to. Oh, and it arrived looking as an 'U'.. given that it was a hardback version... someone really really must've hated Kant
  8. Chronus had some great ideas. But I'm not that sure about including ETA at all in the copy-movement descriptions. Try Asian 7750, or Clone 7750 or Copy 7750. That way, the Asian/Clone/Copy wording becomes quite hard to omit/forget/insert applicable word here. And I understand the hassle of changing super lume to not so super lume on older watches. However, can't see the problem for newer additions? Well, in a way I do. The info on the pages most probably arrives with the pictures directly from factory, so the work that would be put into changing new arrivals is a lot more difficult to do than just copy pasting it. Especially if the factory doesn't really care, and everything is drop-shipped. That said, could the dealer section on this page be altered in a way so that new posts for dealers would be templates where they enter information. Where some/all fields are necessary? Or even better, remove some open answers and let them tick in either mineral, sapphire, or plastic/plexi; various forms of movements; lume: super luminova, regular lume, supadupaloom/lume that is super etc; Ar-coating: existant or non-existant/light ar; Material used for case; Material used for strap; Size of case w/o crown and Size of watch (inc. crown) etc. That way confusion could be minimized and it could bring forward some form of standardization.
  9. I know, and I'd like to add that the cannot is linked to the ... price.
  10. Wasn't Ruby also able to get this, at a lower price, but coz of some unfortunate 'happenings' isn't anymore?
  11. Although I agree with Kenberg, I thank You for this information
  12. Do you state that the 'eta' in your B&R is the clone version?
  13. As some of this is clearly OT. An ETA is an ETA because it is not a Miyota or a PP 240. Meaning is given to it in regard to what it isn't. Let me clarify this. Pretend you have a castle, a villa and a lodge (and they didn't enter a bar). And you have a good idea of what they 'are' and what they look like. As you see a castle, you think 'castle', and so on. In the same way, when you say castle, you have a mental image of what a castle looks like (although generalized). So, moving to the point, a villa looks like a villa, as it is not and does not look like a castle or a lodge. What happens when you remove the word villa? I mean eradicate it. Will it not have a word or concept attached to it? Let's pretend that a new word isn't invented and used. Both castle and lodge will extend their meanings to embrace some villas: grand ones to castles and small ones to castles. In time, if a word is not needed for the category, the habitats formerly known as villas will be either in the 'castle' category or 'lodge' category. Don't know if Saussure would've been proud of me, but let's pretend So what happens when people singledhandedly decidade that it is not only ETA that should be called ETA, superlume is only super in terms of, well what? Well, confusion at first, as obviously the word isn't really gone and ... the rest is in a long long thread.
  14. Not that interested in the flame And of course there isn't, you are completely right about that. However, if the coke pusher wants to survive in business, making such 'mistakes' could be fatal - and perhaps not only for business. It is up to the buyer to decide what to do. So what can the buyer do in this case, or in a case where perfectly good Pot is actually Oregano. Well, stop buying perhaps, and inform other people why they don't buy anymore. The last part isn't really necessary, but then again, that could perhaps be said to be the essence of these boards.
  15. So basically some people are fine with reading an ad, buy the car from a distant seller as it is sold at a good price, and try to start it while the seller runs away screaming "THE AD SAID THAT THERE WAS AN ENGINE, LOOK CLOSELY THERE'S A TANK IN THE TRUNK"? Possible answers to this? Yeah, you shoud've tried it out! Indeed, however in this case the misrepresented car is better off so the argument is actually contraproductive. Considering that if you find Admin the Tank in the trunk, but no other engine, you'll kinda think twice before money is invested. In a watch case, the least you have to pay is the shipping back and forth. Another one, but it was so cheeeaaap. Indeed it was, and usually you do get what you pay for. Then again, both scenarios are at the same level. In the car-example, the engine was not visible. In the watch-example, the engine was ... well... actually something else than on the picture.
  16. That sure sucks Talked with the dealer about it? edit: I agree With omni below by the way
  17. Did the watch come like this? (superlumed) As Joshua states that the markers have superlume on his site. Lovely watch!
