i have not held el's new cn version in my hand but i have read several reveiws on it and everybody loves it and the dial color will be exellant, the cg's will be good the rehuat will be about 1.8mm, a gen is 2.0 and a tw best is 2.1 and the crystal height above the bezel insert will be alittle low, its the same case as the other cn versons. i have a black and a lv from el and i like them very much. i think you will like it very much and eddy is a good dealer. let us know what you think when you receive and don't forget to show us the pictures!

yes, if i liked the watch and the band, it wouldn't stop me from buying it. it can be polished.

i agree with your list 100%. for myself i went with a tw best sub from el and it's getting every mod known to man done to it. but i always say when somebody asks me, the best sub rep is one that will accept gen parts for obvious reasons 1 step back from that is a tw best. the new round of cn subs are great but they don't have the case thickness and you can't fix that but i still think they are very good and i have a black and a lv that i rotate through the week everyday.

i seen chris angel wareing a brietling navitimer that was solid diamonds, dial, band, case everything. i wish i had that money. lol

my tw best from el has polished ends on the links like a gen and the 18k is exactly the same color as my 18k jewlery.

i was just curious as i know nothing about movements. i see this everyday and it just made me wonder. so for rough work it is best to just find a quartz watch that appels to you and use that. for all out durability would it be better to use a digital or normal watch with hands. i don't seem to see a preferance at work. i do not ware a watch at work but i was thinking about getting one (with hands). any suggestions on something cool looking that is durable? invicta with swiss ecotec quartz? i really like the ocean ghost crono. something like that? any suggestions would be appreciated. i just wanted something that still looked intresting.

are cheap watches from wal-mart more durable? quartz movements? i work for boeing and most of the people ware generally cheap watches, timex and so, on driving 3/16 and 1/4 in rivits with powerful rivit guns all day. we are suppose to ware special vibration damping gloves and straps around our forearms with gel filled bags to help absorb vibrations but most of the time we don't because they are very cumbersome. all of my joints in my hands, arms and shoulders are shot, but yet these guys ware these type of watches until the batteries are gone then just buy new ones. out of the hundres of people i work with i haven't seen or heard of the pounding they take every day harming them nor is there any special brand that we are buying. everybodys watches look very beat up and are not new. all day long we are hitting them on every thing, reaching down into holes in assemblys drilling holes, bucking rivits, grinding on parts pounding with hammers and rivit guns. is a quartz movement inherintly more durable? the vibration from a dremmel is nothing more than a tire out of balance on the front of your car with your hand on the steering wheel compared to what i see every day, all day long. just curious. this is what i see every day. i just laughed when i read the thread on tz about driving golf balls with your sub on. some of those guys actually take them off to play. can you imagine taking off your rolex because it is not durable enough to play golf. what a bunch of crap.lol

i like the maxi dial and the large minute hand so much on my lv and ym i wish all of the subs had those features. klink has a lv with a black insert also and he likes it alot. i think it looks better and it's alot easier for me to read. it seems like i heard that rolex was going to put this on all of the subs but i don't remember where. maybe if i am lucky they will do it.

yea that is the one i like. i've been looking at gens that also have the moon phase i really like those. do they rep that? is this the one that has a subdial following the hour hand? i haven't studied these but i need to. bytor has a great guide on these and has answered questions for me in some threads where we were talking about them. what is the deal with the movements? some are hand wind with different subdials is this correct? how do you deciede witch one to buy and who has the best version of it?

i really want one of those with a white dial and blue hands. and as far as the sub dials i think your right, nobody is going to challenge it.

god i love this crap! for me it's the rehaut and the crystal height that bothers me, but it's a wonderful rep and very acceptable to me. we have subs readily avaliable of this quality and i'm told i'm too picky, i won't buy a orange po because they can't put the damn logo in the right place and the correct length hands on it. nun of us would buy a sub with those kind of flaws. if someone presented a sub here with just one of those flaws we would blast it off of the board, but it seems to be acceptable for a po. i don't get it.

i beleive that all countrys want a form of democracy and freedom that fits their culture. maybe like america and maybe not. that would depend on what the population of that country wants. i'm also curious of what those edited posts said.

this tread started out to be the funniest thing i had ever read but it seems to have changed so i will only make one more entry. some people don't want us to flant them because they don't want us to have them and there is nothing they can do about it. this includes people all over the world even some in the us. the fact is i do have the right to have as many as i like and to talk about them as much as i like. with that said it seems to be frowned upon here so i will respect the thoughts of others in the community and i will stop talking about them. now let's see some more of the funny pictures!

agreed, do you think it is strange that the europeans don't beleive that we should have guns? as i recall they were the reason we have this right to begin with. it doesn't surprize me at all. didn't we tell them at the end of a gun that we would run our own country and to leave? yep i'm pretty sure they are the reason that we have the second amendment. imagine that.
